LOS ANGELES.–Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 70, son of assassinated Atty. Gen. Robert F. Kennedy, announced for president April 19, 2023, claiming that the country needed a fighter for the people, after spending his career working as an environmental attorney representing defendants damaged by FDA approved vaccines. Today, RFK Jr. announced he was ending his campaign and endorsing 78-year-old President Donald Trump. Kennedy has been most alarmed by 81-year-old President Joe Biden going to war Feb. 24, 2022 with the Kremlin to defend Ukraine. Kennedy grew up in politics watching his uncle President John F. Kennedy work feverishly to end the Cold War and promote nuclear non-proliferation, doing everything possible to work toward the control and elimination of nuclear weapons. Living through the 1962 Cuban Missile crisis, RFK Jr. learned the value of diplomacy.
Democrats finished the Democrat National Convention [DNC] saying almost nothing about foreign policy. Vice President Kamala Harris said at her acceptance speech Aug. 22 that she would continue to battle the Kremlin by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Kennedy said the Ukraine War is what got him into the presidential race, knowing the risks to world peace pitting the U.S. against the Russian Federation. “I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues,” RFK Jr. said today, announcing he endorsed Trump. Kennedy praised Trump for seeking to end the Ukraine War, but unlike House and Senate Democrats, he blamed Biden for starting the Ukraine War by arming Ukraine to the teeth. Putin warned Biden for months before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, that if he didn’t stop arming Ukraine he would be forced to take a special military operation.
No Democrats and Republicans blame Biden for pushing Putin to invade Ukraine by continuing to arm Zelensky’s Kiev government. Biden repeated that the Ukraine War was a naked power grab by 71-year-old Russia President Vladimir Putin. Biden said repeatedly that the war was “unprovoked and unjustified” to justify his decision to arm Ukraine to battle the Kremlin. Never before in post WW II history has any U.S. president gone to war against the Kremlin. RFK Jr. recognized that Biden deviated from as long line of Republican and Democrat presidents to work on diplomacy, détente and arms control. Since funding proxy war against the Kremlin, Biden turned Russia, a cooperative partner, into a mortal enemy, with the Kremlin viewing the Ukraine War as a conflict between the U.S. and NATO, not primarily the Kiev government.
No one other than RFK Jr. and Trump see the big picture of the importance of U.S.-Russian relations. Kennedy endorsed Trump because he believes continuing the war endangers world peace, may even lead to nuclear war. If Putin decides to hit Kiev with a nuke, what’s Biden or Harris going to do? Start a thermonuclear war between the U.S. and Russia? Promising to keep the war going, Harris follows the belligerent Biden policy of seeking to topple Putin’s Kremlin government. No one in the European Union [EU] or NATO thinks Biden or Ukraine’s 46-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky is going to defeat Russia on the battlefield. Yet Zelensky and Biden refuse to enter peace talks aimed at resolving the conflict, all because Putin refuses to withdraw his forces from Russian control of Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Kennedy agrees with Trump that his top priority is ending the Ukraine War.
Unlike the White House, Congress and the U.S. press, no one admits that the war started when former Russian heavyweight boxer Vitali Klitschko led a Feb. 22, 2014 coup AKA the Maiden Revolution, to topple the Kremlin backed government of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. Biden never mentions why Putin was forced to take as special military operation designed to demilitarize the Ukraine battlefield from U.S. and NATO supplied arms. RFK Jr. called the Ukraine conflict a major driver in why he ran for president. Kennedy said he also wanted to defend to rights to children to resist what he calls harmful childhood vaccines. Democrats and the press, including RFK Jr.’s own family, calling him a kook and conspiracy nut for defending families in vaccine court. Democrats and the press have demonized RFK Jr. for ‘the war on our children.”
Trump had nothing but high praise for RFK Jr. endorsing his campaign. Speaking at rally together after the endorsement in Arizona, Trump said he was honored to have RFK Jr. endorse his campaign, complementing him as a very fine person. Trump asked RFK Jr. to join him in requesting an independent investigation of presidential assassinations, something that nearly took his life July 13 in Butler, Pa. Trump called the full release of all remaining government files on the JFK and RFK assassinations. “And they will also conduct a rigorous review of the attack last month,” Trump said, pointing to discrepancies in the Secret Service and local law enforcement responses. Nothing appeals more to RFK Jr. in endorsing Trump than working hard to end the Ukraine War. Kamala spelled out her position that she would keep the war going indefinitely, no matter what the consequences.
