LOS ANGELES.–President Joe Biden’s, 81, strategists are busy jockeying for position before Thursday night’s CNN debate, setting the bar low for the president, while 78-year-old former President Donald Trump looks for Biden to repeat his jacked-up performance at the State-of-the-Union-Speech. Biden seemed angry speaking to joint session of Congress, not what you’d expect from the otherwise bumbling president who’s more prone toward gaffes than saying anything too coherent. All anyone has heard about Biden is how serious he’s taking the speech as CNN pundit Van Jones says if Biden slips up it’s game over for the election. Van Jones refers to voters that are already skeptical to give Biden four more years, wishing the Democrat Party had run someone younger or certainly more coherent. Democrats and the press have been covering up Biden’s age-related cognitive decline.

Biden intense debate prep is designed to help him provoke Trump during the debate to let him look unhinged to the public. That was former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) approach to Trump during his four years in office. Talking constantly about how Trump was unfit for the presidency because of his known outrageous behavior. Pelosi and other Democrats used any type of Trump humor as proof of his erratic behavior, when he used to give regular Covid press conferences with Dr. Anthony Fauci at his side. Trump had no clue that Fauci, during the 2020 campaign, was a Democrat political operative, working in overdrive to upend Trump’s 2020 campaign. Trump’s comments about using bleach as a disninfectant in the body was supposed to make people laugh but was used by Democrats to offer conclusive proof that Trump was out-of-his-mind.

Now the left wing press has been commenting about how Trump changed his tune on the upcoming debate, giving Biden all the kudos for being a competent debater. Liberal media often points out how Trump tells his campaign audiences that Biden can’t put two-thoughts together let alone rune the economy and foreign policy. Recent press reports, stemming from former President Bill Clinton’s 80-year-old chief strategist James Carville, say that Trump won’t show up for the debate but cancel at the last minute. Anti-Trump media says Trump fears a strong debate performance from Biden, just like the one in 2020, when Trump spent most his time interrupting Biden with Fox News Chris Wallace moderating. Trump’s campaign team are well aware that Trump-hating Jake Tapper and Dana Bash are designated moderators, designed to give Biden a free pass during the debate.

Trump likes to point out what he calls the “fake news,” a reference to CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, and other liberal outlets that have nothing good to say about him. So, when he faces the CNN debate Thursday night, he has the deck stacked against him, not sure how he’ll handle a three-on-one debate with Biden, Tapper and Bash all ganging up on Trump. “I’ll be debating three people instead of one-half a person,” Trump said at a rally in Racine, Wisconsin, referring to Biden as the one-half. Biden’s strategists have hyped his intensive debate prep which, according to MSNBC, is designed to provoke Trump into erratic behavior on national TV, not really deal with any substantive issues. White House strategists accuse Trump of destroying U.S. democracy and playing dictator, just like he did when he was president for four years.

Trump was accused by the liberal press of having inappropriate relations with U.S. adversaries and foreign dictators like 71-year-old President Vladimir Putin, 71-year-old President Xi Jinping and 40-year-old North Korean President Kim Jong-un. Trump showed the U.S. can have cooperative, pragmatic relations with foreign adversaries, something that hasn’t happened under Biden. It’s doubtful that Tapper or Bash will ask any substantive questions about Biden’s unending proxy war in Ukraine against the Russian Federation. Tapper and Bash won’t ask Biden about the endgame in Ukraine, what he hopes to accomplish. Biden’s 71-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is on record saying that the U.S. hopes to degrade the Russian military in Ukraine to the point it can no longer wage war. If that doesn’t sound like a declaration of war, then what does?

Tapper and Bash won’t hesitate to put everything that Biden does as president in a favorable light when the economy has suffered with runaway inflation for the last two years. Biden won’t take any responsibility for creating the worst inflation on over 40 years by declaring a Russian oil embargo, sending oil and gas prices spiraling for the last two years, adding to the inflation in practically every sector of the economy. When it comes to foreign policy, Tapper and Bash won’t point out the unending wars in Ukraine, Gaza Strip and in the Red Sea, where commercial shipping has been wrecked by Iran’s Yemen-based Houthi rebels. Trump will be blamed for having inappropriate relations with North Korea’s Kim Jong-up when he became the first U.S. president to visit North Korea. Tapper and Bash will ignore completely Biden’s push to start war with Communist China.
