LOS AGNELES.–CNN continues its egregious anti-Trump bias, saying everything he says are lies, engaging in phony fact-checking knowing that former President Donald Trump has a long history with CNN accusing him of Russian collusion for at least four years but never recanting the fake accusations stemming from 76-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s fabricated dossier by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele. Steele was sued for his outrageous lies and admitted under oath that he deleted all his underlying sources to claims that Trump was a Russia agent, working on behalf of the Kremlin. Hillary, of course, used her paid opposition research to discredit Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, but the contents of the so-called Steele Dossier were all fake. Special Counsel Robert Mueller spent 22-months, $40 million investigating Trump’s Russia ties, concluding there were none.
CNN never recanted the countless news stories and reports by hosts and pundits over a four year period all confirming, what Mueller found out to be false, that Trump had no inappropriate ties to Russia. Yet CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post and other liberal outlets continued to talk and writes stories about Trump’s ties to Moscow. CNN calls Trump’s remarks on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” with Joe Kernen “insidious” for claiming the government was weaponized against him in his multiple indictments claiming Trump planned and orchestrated the Jan. 6, 2021 “insurrection” and retained classified docs in White House moving boxes at his Mar-a-Lago estate. “Biden has weaponized the government and that the U.S. legal system under the ‘very angry and confused man’ is not comparable to that of a third world country,’” CNN reported Trump said.
What has CNN done to correct the record about four years to tying Trump to Russia? CNN thinks because they’re a news organization they can fact-check Trump and make any statement without accountability. “The former president, for example, claimed that when he was in office, the country was producing oil at a ‘much higher level’ than now,” CNN said. “The U.S. broke all previous records for oil production. Unfortunately, Kernen failed to challenge Trump on the matter,” CNN insisted. But four years ago, Trump ran a pro-fossil fuel administration, with a motto of, “We were drill baby drill,” Trump told Kernen. Trump approved with his Department of Energy drilling on the Alaskan National Wildlife Reserve [ANWR]. Whatever level Trump drilled at in 2020, it would have been far higher today if the Keystone XL pipeline and drilling in ANWR actually took place. Biden cancelled both projects.
So when it comes to CNN’s fact-checking it’s a distorted as it gets to make Trump look like a compulsive liar, something reserved for the fake news. When it comes to Trump saying the Biden administration has weaponized the Department of Justice, FBI, CIA and National Intelligence Agency, all to support indictments against Trump. CNN never asked questions about years of accusations that Trump admired dictators and to this day wants to destroy U.S. democracy to rule as a dictator or autocrat. Instead of reporting on Trump’s uncanny ability to get along with U.S. adversaries, 81-year-old President Joe Biden has wrecked U.S.-Russian and U.S.-Chinese relations, turning both nuclear-powered adversaries in mortal enemies. CNN has no problem saying Trump panders to dictators but there’s no criticism of Biden damaging U.S.-Russian and U.S.-Chinese relations.
CNN likes to paint Trump with the broad brush of “liar,” rather than understand his perspective whether it’s on government weaponization, TikTok or Social Security and Medicare. Trump talks of Biden going after him to interfere in the 2024 election yet CNN claims it’s an outright lie. But why did Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who charged Trump with election racketeering, visit the Biden White House? Coordinating charges against Trump from the White House shows a conflict-of-interest that interferes with the fair administration of justice. Trump has been the victim for years of wild accusations about his ties to Russia to damage him politically. CNN doesn’t call its unfounded accusations lies but acts entitled to present a Democrat political agenda, whether it’s factual or not. CNN says Trump wants to rule as a “strongman” when, in fact, Biden and Trump issued executive orders.
CNN has led the anti-Trump broadcast movement to discredit Trump regardless of his positions on literally every subject. Blaming Kernen for allowing Trump to speak his mind without constant interruptions provides the best opportunity for hearing his actual positions like on oil drilling, entitlement programs, border security, the economy, war-and-peace and every other relevant issue. CNN likes to fact-check and discredit Trump from its narrow liberal perspective rather than look at issues facing the country. If Biden follows his warmongering path, how does that help the U.S. economy when the government goes to war against Russia and possibly China? Trump finds himself defending numerous charges all with something in common: They all interfere with the 2024 election. Branding everything Trump says as a lie, CNN only shows its anti-Trump bias.
