Pre-recorded on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with first-time host Kristen Welker, 77-year-old President Donald Trump said he would end the Ukraine War in 24 hour upon taking office. Trump was criticized while president by other liberal broadcast and print outlets for getting along with 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. Democrats and the press accused Trump of admiring dictators because he aspired to be American’s authoritarian ruler. When you think of the all the fake news about Trump’s ties with Putin, 70-year-old Chinese President or North Korean President Kim Jong-un, it shows the destructive influence of politics on the U.S. press. Unlike 80-year-old President Joe Biden, Trump did everything during his presidency to get along with U.S. adversaries. Trump worked to end all U.S. foreign wars and prevent a new conflict from engulfing his presidency.
So, when Welker asks Trump about what he’d do to end the Ukraine War, she acts clueless that there’s an easy way out of the conflict. Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky act like ending the war is beyond their capabilities. How absurd that the main combatants in the Ukraine conflict can’t figure a way out. Welker asked Trump about recent praise from Putin, something that irks Democrats and the press. “What I’m saying is right,” Trump said, referring to Putin apparent approval of Trump’s plan to end the conflict. Welker acts like ending the war is impossible because Biden and Zelensky show no interest in finding a way out. Welker asked Trump to explain what he would do to end the Ukraine War. “If I tell you exactly, I lose all my bargaining chips. I mean, you can’t really say exactly what you’re going to do . . . “ Trump told Welker.
Welker acted dumbfounded because Biden gives the impression that if the war ended Putin would take over all of Europe. Biden and Zelensky have been lying to Congress and the European parliament that the Ukraine War keeps Putin from invading other European countries. Biden knows that NATO, not bankrupt and war-ravaged Ukraine, defends European democracy. Biden wants to give Kiev another $24 billion next week, bringing Zelensky to the White House to sell his case. Zelensky has made no accounting of the some $200 billion in U.S. military and humanitarian aid. Biden expects to bring Zelensky to the White House to sell Congress on more Ukraine funding. Instead of working on a ceasefire and peace talks, Biden and Zelensky want to continue the conflict, seeking to topple the Russian Federation or at least drive Russian troops from Ukraine’s sovereign territory.
When talking to Trump, Welker was thrown off-script about his decisive anti-war stance. Why Democrats and the press back Biden’s war mongering is anyone’s guess. Any superficial look at U.S. foreign policy shows that Biden ended decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control, making the world a more dangerous place. As long as the U.S. wages war against the Kremlin, the U.S. can’t return to normal U.S. foreign policy. Generations of U.S. presidents since WW II have made diplomacy and arms control with Russia a top priority. When President John Kennedy was in office, he worked night-and-day on nuclear nonproliferation to work toward global peace. What Biden’s done to U.S. foreign policy and national security are impeachable offenses. No one other than Biden has destabilized security and world peace. Welker saw Trump defend his foreign policy record with U.S. adversaries.
Welker questioned why Trump liked the praise from Putin. “I like that he said that,” Trump said. “Because that means what I’m saying is right. I would get him into a room. I get Zelensky into a room. Then I’d bring them together. And I’d have a deal worked out,” Trump said, showing what he do to end the Ukraine War. Claiming he would “make a deal for everybody,” Trump wouldn’t give Welker specifics but certainly enough to know that he’s committed to ending the war. Trump has his opponents in the GOP like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), former Gov. Chris Christie and former U.N. Amb. Nikki Haley, all of whom back Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin. Welker’s NBC network worked 24/7 to promote the discredited Russian hoax, continues to sabotage Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. Welker can’t speak for how the NBC network has extreme prejudice against Trump.
Instead of repeating NBC’s anti-Trump talking points, Welker lost a golden opportunity to see the depth and sincerity behind Trump foreign policy. He wants no war with the Kremlin because it harms U.S. foreign policy and national security. “There was nobody tough than me with Russia,” Trump said. “And yet I go along with Putin. Lem tell you, I got along with him really well. And that a good thing, no a bad thin. He’s gove 1,700 nuclear missiles. An so do we,” Trump said, showing how Biden has done everything wrong with U.S. foreign policy and national security. Welker couldn’t give Trump a fair interview because she’s brainwashed by NBC to despise Trump and everything he stands for. Trump tried to let Welker know that there’s another approach to U.S. foreign policy and national security that going to war against the Kremlin. Trump wants to return the U.S. to peace and prosperity.
