Facomg 62-year-old ABC Mews George Stephanoopoulos, 38-year-old 2024 GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy showed he’s capable to handling the Democrat spin machine, readily explaining his positions on former President Donald Trump. Ramaswamy told George he thought the prosecutions of Trump were illegal, prompting ABC News fact checkers to immediately claim there’s no evidence of illegality. Ramaswamy didn’t explain current poling that shows that most Republicans find the prosecution of Trump politically motivated, attesting to the fact that GOP voters continue to support Trump. Recent polls show Ramaswamy slipping slightly since the Aug. 24 GOP debate in Milwaukee, largely because his positions on foreign policy exposed his naivety, especially when it comes to giving advice about 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Stephanopouilos mentioned nothing about Putin because he didn’t want to get into an argument over the Ukraine War. Supporting Biden’s proxy war, Stephanopoulos isn’t a real broadcast jounalist but a Democrat political hack masquerading as a journalist, only seeking to discredit Ramaswamy and the GOP. Stephanoupoulos asked Ramaswamy whether it was wrong of Trump to come up with an alternative slate of electors. Ramswamy told Stephanopoulos it’s not something he would have done, while, at the same time, didn’t think it was illegal. Ramaswamy told Stephanopoulos there’s a difference from bad behavior and illegal behavior. Ramaswamy thinks Trump didn’t behave appropriately at times but it didn’t rise to criminal offense. “But I do draw an distinction George, between bad behavior and illegal behavior.” Stephaphanoulos reacted with typical Democrat political bias.
Ramaswamy clearly threw Stephanopoulos for a loop, something that interfered with his Democrat narrative . “And once we start conflating those two things, I think we’re in a long downward slide as a country,” Ramaswamy said, referring to weaponizing the Justice Department, FBI, CIA and other government agencies. Stephanopoulos, who defended former President Bill Clinton in his Monica Lewinsky affair, can’t get behind his Democrat agenda, in this case discrediting Ramaswamy and Trump. Stephanopoulos questioned whether Ramaswamy thought Trump actions on Jan. 6, 2021 encouraged his followers to attack the Capitol. Stephanopoulos fed Ramaswamy Democrat propaganda that Trump was responsible for the events on Jan. 6. Ramaswamy could have questioned Democrats facts about the role Trump played on Jan. 6, including telling his supporters to only protest peacefully.
Stephanopoulos talked to Ramaswamy as if he had facts about Trump actions on Jan. 6, 2021 that were not part of charges made by Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictments. Setephaonopoulos acted like he had more evidence to tie Trump to planning-and-orchestrating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. “I disagree with a lot of what he did that day. I said so at the time. I say so today, George, I haven’t wavered on that,” Ramaswamy said, apparently making Stepehanoupoulos’argument. Stephanopoulos was determined to get Ramaswamy to agree that Trump deserved his four indictments for 92 felonies. Ramaswamy deftly agreed that he wouldn’t have done what Trump did but made sure Stephanopoulos knew he disagreed with the prosecutions. Democrats hold Trump responsible for Jan. 6 but have no evidence to say that he planned-or-orchestrated the Capitol riots.
Stephanompoulos wanted Ramaswamy to state for the record that if Trump winds the GOP nomination he’d back him for president. “You find his actions abhorrent around Jan. 6. You said he was wrong to take the classified information. You said you would not do that yourself,” Stephanopoulos said. “But you still say you would vote for him for president. That’s what I don’t get,” Stephanopolous said, trying to make Ramaswamy look inconsistent. Ramaswamy made clear that he would vote for Trump if he wins the GOP nomination. “What I’ve said is clear,” said Ramaswamy. “If Donald Trump’s the nominee, yes, I will support him. And if I’m president, yes I will pardon him, because that will help reunited the country,” Ramaswamy said. Stephanopoulos couldn’t do Ramaswamy what he likes to do to all Republicans, make them look hypocritical and against the United States.
Ramaswamy redeemed himself taking on one of the screwdist Democrat operatives on the airwaves. Stephanopoulos learned all about spin for his former boss President Bill Clinton. Clinton never admitted he had an affair with Monica Lewinsky, Whatever happed with Clinton in 1998, it all seems so inconsequential when the GOP were up in arms about his alleged affair with Monica Lewisky. Democrat want to paint Trump as criminal, asking Ramawamy how he could support some charged with 91 felonies. As Ramaswamy tried to explain, GOP primary voters think Trump was framed and railroaded into highly partisan charges. Democrats and the press have already tried-and-convicted Trump of all his various charges, giving the former president to presumption of innocence. Like the Russian hoax, Trump; is guilty as charged because it’s the Democrat narrative.
