President Joe Biden’s campaign has gone recently after 77-year-old former President Donald Trump and 44-year-old Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, now that Trump faces another Department of Justice indictment, this time for Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots. Trump was accused by the largely Democrat Jan. 6 House Select Committee for planning and orchestrating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, something Democrats call an insurrection. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), 83. impeached Trump in 2020 for “incitement of insurrection.” When Pelosi’s impeachment failed in the U.S. Senate Feb. 13, 2021, Pelosi and other House Democrats started the Jan. 6 House Select Committee. House Democrats and two token Republicans led by 56-year-old former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) and 44-year-old former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) tried to prove Trump planned and organized the Jan. 6 Capitol Riots.

Democrat didn’t prove beyond-a-reasonable doubt that Trump actually planned-and-orchestrated the Capitol riots, they did pass on their recommendations to charge trump with obstruction and conspiracy in the Department of Justice. Special Counsel Jack Smith, 54, convened a grand jury, only recently notifying Trump he was a target of more indictments for Jan. 6. Trump said at a July 18 Fox News town hall that he was ‘horrified” when here received a “target letter” July 16 from the DOJ. Trump already faced indictments by the DOJ for mishandling classified docs found by the FBI has hi Mar-a-Lago estate, not to mention another 37 felonies in Manhattan District Court for Trump’s alleged hush money payment and financial cover-up to former porn actress Stormy Daniels AKA Stephanie Clifford. Atlanta District Atty. Fani Taifa Willis considers charging Trump with Election fraud.

All of Trump charges, including new charges by Special Counsel Jack Smith, leads the Biden campaign to believe that Trump won’t last too much longer in the 2024 race. Targeting DeSantis, Trump’s closest rival, indicates that the Biden campaign needs to start targeting DeSantis. Whether Artificial Intelligenc [AI] dictates new attacks on DeSantis or not, the Biden campaign called DeSantis campaign against “wokeness” a “contrived political stunt.” DeSantis has campaigned against “wokeness,” knowing the public’s confusion over the issue. DeSantis said he wanted to “rip the woke out of the military.” DeSantis set himself up for racial attacks. Wokeness, whether admitted to or not, has come to mean “anti-raciist” in the press. Democrat strategist ran successfully after Trump in 2020 painting him as a racist after the May 25, 2020 George Floyd Minneapolis police killing.

Going after DeSantis for his campaign against “wokeness,” Democrat have played the same race card against DeSantis, now that he’s considered the heir apparent against Trump. DeSantis has been warned by political strategists to stay away from the woke bandwagon, knowing the risks of branding him a racist. When it comes to DeSantis censorship of certain books in Florida, he’s vulnerable to leftist attacks. “Well, but I think there’s an issue about—not everyone really knows what wokeness is,” DeSantis said., showing that new research showed the “woke” did not rank at the top of U.S. army’s concerns. “I mean, I’ve never denied it, but a lot of people who’ve rallied against wokeness can’t even define it,” DeSantis said. Democrats have accused DeSantis of contriving a fake campaign platform targeting “wokeness.” Democrats think they have DeSantis in the racist camp.

DeSantis had been told toe let “wiokeness” go as a campaign issues, realizing it gives Democrat fodder to attack him for being racist. “Ron DeSantis himself just told CNN ‘not everyone really knows what wokeness is’—admitting his hallmark campaign is a contrived political stunt,” said Biden’s political campaign. Branding DeSantis a racist, just like they did Trump in 2020, is the perfect political strategy heading into 2024. Biden’s campaign senses that another indictment of Trump would make DeSantis the GOP frontrunner, using the race card to discredit the Florida governor. “If Ron DeSantis actually cares about the military, he would call of Sen. Tuberville (R-Al.) to stop the unprecedented damage he’s doing to the armed forces and military families ever day by blockading of hundreds of military nominations and promotions,” said Kevin Munoz, Biden campaign spokesman. What does DeSantis have to do with Tuberville? DeSantis has his own problems with ‘wokeness.”

DeSantis holds the No. 2 spot with about 20% of the GOP vote next to Trump. Biden campaign officials worry that DeSantis would present a bad match up for Biden because of DeSanti’s youth and appearance. Democrats and the press have been saying DeSantis’ campaign has stalled, when he still leads the GOP, excluding Trump, by 15%. No other Republican candidate holds the appeal with Trump’s base other than DeSantis. Going after DeSantis indicates that the Biden campaign sees Trump eventually dropping out because of mounting legal problems. “Florida is where woke goes to die,” DeSantis said setting himself up as the news GOP racist. Focusing on “woke,” DeSantis gives Democrats and the press all the ammo they need to attack him as a racist. Best for DeSantis to stick to the economy and war-and-peace issues in Ukraine where Biden has wasted nearly $200 billion since Feb. 24, 202.
