What happened to the U.S. press and nonpartisan members of Congress watching 80-year-old President Joe Biden endanger U.S. national security to the point that all conventional channels for U.S. foreign policy have been limited to the Western Alliance. Since the Feb. 24 Ukraine War, Biden spent all his time building on a NATO alliance with European Countries joining his crippling sanctions against the Russian Federation. Decades of constructive relations with Russia and Communist China have been trashed under Biden to the point the U.S. finds itself in a proxy war using Ukrainian troops with the Russian Federation. All the news surrounds how much cash and the latest weapon system sent to Ukraine to fight the Kremlin. Where has Biden war strategy against Russia gotten the U.S.? It left the U.S. vulnerable to North Korea’s latest nuclear threats and saber rattling against the West.

When former President Donald Trump dealt with 48-year-old North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-un, he developed enough rapport to have Kim suspend his nuclear and ballistic missile testing program. Trump was slammed by Democrats and the press for having “too close” relations with Kim, but, more importantly, with 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. No one in the Democrat-controlled press says anything about Biden’s abysmal relations with Russia and Communist China. Where’s the leverage suppose to come from with Kim developing his Hwasong-17 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile [ICBM] capable of hitting anywhere in the United States. When past presidents had problem with North Korea or other rogue regimes, they could count on Putin and China’s 69-year-old President Xi Jinping to help manage the crisis. Biden painted the U.S. into a corner with no help in sight.

Biden has been lashing out at Russia and China from Day One of his administration calling Putin a “soulless killer” and accusing Xi of committing genocide against Muslim Uyghurs in Western China. With the latest developments in Taiwan, the U.S. is closer to war with Beijing since the 1949 Maoist Revolution. Whatever fears in the U.N. or European Union over nuclear war with Russia, North Korea has gone full-steam ahead with its nuclear capabilities. Gone are the days when the U.S. or U.N. could slap sanctions on Pyongyang to discourage Kim’s nuke program. Trump had rapport enough with Kim for him to respect U.S. concerns about his nuke program. Under Biden, there’s no strategic partners in Russia or China to help dial back Kim’s nuclear weapons program. Biden’s proxy war with the Russian Federation has set back U.S.-Russian relations generations.

Think about what Biden has done to U.S. national security. He’s wrecked diplomatic relations with Russia and China to the point that they’re no longer helpful in containing North Korea. “We are in dangerous territory when it comes to the North Korean threat,” said Evans Revere, a former U.S. diplomat. Biden has wrecked U.S. foreign policy linkage, where the State Department relied on its relations to adversaries, like Russia and China, to deal with emerging threats around the globe. Biden chose Ukraine over the Moscow, ending decades to practical, cooperative relations with Russia. Arming Ukraine to fight the Kremlin has been the most destructive foreign policy strategy in U.S. history. Biden has zero leverage in Russia or China to help contain a growing North Korean nuclear threat. Biden has no one to help deal with the North Korean nuclear threat.

Biden’s ego and presidential legacy is tied to what happens in Ukraine. He recalls well what happened with the Obama administration in Syria, where Obama and Biden spent billions supporting rebel groups over an eight years period to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Biden’s Syrian War killed over 500,000 Syrian and drove 12 million more to neighboring countries and Europe. Obama and Biden’s Syrian policy drove the U.K. out of the European Union and practically broke up the Brussels’ based institution. “North Korea could at least pretend that it was o pen to dialogue, but which hasn’t been the case,” said Ramon Pacheco Pardo, a Korea expert at King’s College, London. “I think that the Kim regime simply wants to improve its capabilities, no matter the consequences,” said Pardo. Biden has zero leverage with Russia and Chin to rein in Kim’s nuclear ambitions.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, 73, said recently that the prospects for nuclear war have never been higher. Guterres referred to the situation in Ukraine, where Kiev and Washington fight a determined proxy war against the Kremlin. When it comes to North Korea, Kim has gone all-out developing in short, medium and long-range Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles [ICBMs} Kim’s hwasong-17 ICBM is capable of hitting anywhere in the United States. Biden’s abysmal relations with Russia and China have made the situation much worse because the U.S. has no way to influence Pyangyang, other that saber-rattling. More threats or sanctions to North Korea would only make a bad situation worse. Biden shows no leadership when it comes to safeguarding U.S. national security. With Russian and Chinese relations at rock bottom, Biden has no leverage with North Korea.
