Trump-hating Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Il.), a member of the Jan. 6 House Select Committee seeking anything to tie former President Donald Trump to planning the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that some of the documents found in Mar-a-Lago are too sensitive for public view. Kinzinger implies that Trump was so reckless with classified and Top Secret documents there ‘s no question they endangered U.S. national security. Imagine that, Trump’s docs removed from the White House were in a locked basement, hardly a threat to anyone. Yet Kinzinger and other Trump-hating Republicans, like 56-year-old lame duck Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.), thinks anything found at Mar-a-Lago should be used to indict Trump for violating the Espionage Act, Presidential Records Act or Tittle 18, Section 270 of the U.S. Code requiring elected officials to safeguard government property.
Preaching to the choir with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Kinzinger reveals exactly what’s wrong with the Cable News Network, whose politics turned left under former CEO Jeff Zucker, who used the network to go after Trump for his four years in office. CNN has watched its ratings, viewership and revenue drop like a rock under Zucker, now seeking a rehab job under 50-year-old new CEO Chris Licht, who’s trying to reverse years of left-wing bias violating journalistic ethics, advancing a Democrat political agenda. Listening to Tapper, Licht must know it’s an uphill battle purging CNN of its left-wing bias, something that could take years before most of its current hosts need to be replaced by respectable journalists. When it comes to Tapper, few at CNN openly despise Trump more, never saying anything good, only talking about alleged criminal activity circulated in the Democrat Party.
Tapper asked Kinzinger whether “there is some stuff that is so classified you can’t eve say what it is,” implying that Trump endangered U.S. national security. To show the absurdity of Tapper and Kinzinger ‘s argument, both say nothing about 79-year-old President Joe Biden prosecuting a proxy war against the Russian Federation and antagonizing China to the point WW III could break out on the European Continent or in the Taiwan Strait. No, to Tapper and Kinzinger they’re concerned only about hypothetical or fictitious threats to U.S. national security, not the real one confronting the country because of Biden’s abysmal decision-making. Biden said today, announcing anther $700 million worth of new sophisticated weapons, stating publicly that the U.S. will never stop defending Ukraine’s right to democracy. What kind of threat does that pose to U.S. national security?
Where’s the critique from the media that shows no concern about Biden starting WW III but fabricates hypothetical situations for Trump with documents found at Mar-a-Lago in a locked basement? Where’s the reality check for the media or the country about how dangerously close the U.S. is to breaking off diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation and Peoples Republic of China (RPC). “If that’s the case, certainly, we need to make sure that we’re not revealing any of the that, even in an affidavit. We want to make sure we’re no putting anybody’s life at risk,” Kinziger. How many lives has Biden put at risk in his proxy war against the Russian Federation? When Biden said May 23 that he would defend China against a Mainland Chinese invasion, how many millions of lives did Biden put at risk? When you look at the real threat to U.S. national security, it’s not coming from Trump.
Trump was in office for four years and received nothing but flack from Democrats and Trump-hating Republicans for his strong ties and good working relations with Russia and Beijing. Why did Democrats and the press try to sabotage Trump’s relations with U.S. adversaries? Yet no matter what the attempt at sabotaging Trump’s relations with Russia, China and North Korea, Trump made every effort to get along even when he didn’t agree with all of Kremlin or Beijing policies. Kinzinger said that one set of documents at Mar-a-Lago was labeled “Sensitive Compartented Information {SCI], the highest level of classified and Top Secret materials. But as long as the documents were kept by Trump under lock-and-key, there’s no risk to U.S. national security. Does Tapper and Kinzinger think that the Ukraine War and relations with China threaten U.S. national security?
Kinzinger rejected completely the idea that the Mar-a-Lago raid was motivated by politics. “It is really frustrating and sad to see my party having gone down such a dark path,” Kinzinger said. Where was Kinzinger while the FBI under former FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan launched Operation Crossfire Hurricane, a baseless counterintelligence investigation into Trump and his campaign. Kinzinger has no problem with the Department of Justice or FBI using former Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fake Steele dossier to wiretap Trump campaign officials. Where was Kinzinger when former FBI Director Robert Mueller spent 22 months and $40 million investigating Trump’s alleged ties to the Kremlin? What could be “darker” for Kinzinger to see than what’s already happened to Trump. Calling the raid on Mar-a-Lago political is beyond anyone’s doubt, a virtual certainty.
