Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, 44, has asked the world to confiscate all Russian assets around the globe to compensate Ukraine for its infrastructure damage. Imagine that. Zelensky refuses to go to the peace table in Istanbul to work out the terms of a ceasefire but wants Russia to pay for infrastructure damage because he refuses to work on a peace deal after accepting $40 billion in U.S. military and humanitarian aid. Russian President Vladimir Putin put out his conditions for ending the conflict nearly two months ago asking for independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, and recognition by Kiev that Crimea was a part of Russia. Those terms were flatly rejected by Zelensky and President Joe Biden, 79, vowing to continue fighting the Ukraine War until the Russian Federation army was destroyed. Biden made clear he wanted to degrade the Russian military, not end the war.
So Zelensky, who’s received $40 billion in U.S. cash thinks that frozen Russian assets should be turned over to Ukraine. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) pointed out that there’s no Inspector General to monitor the use of U.S. taxpayer cash in Ukraine. No taxpayer knows whether the corrupt Ukrainian government has absconded with much of the money allocated for military and humanitarian aid. However the U.S. cash is spent in Ukraine, no one knows exactly why Biden decided to fund Ukraine to fight a proxy war with the Russian Federation. Had Biden not signaled his intent to topple Putin’s government, maybe the infrastructure destruction and carnage wouldn’t have been so bad. But the Kremlin now considers the Ukraine War an existential war against the United States, making the stakes even higher. Zelensky should have negotiated with Putin early on but was told no by Biden.
Zelensky and Biden mentioned nothing about the fall of Mariupol, the strategic Black Sea port critical to Ukraine’s economy. Biden and Zelensky have pretended with the fake news that the war has gone well in Ukraine against the Russian Federation.. Ukraine has lost nearly the entire Black Sea coast, land-locking the country, partitioning Ukraine, all because Zelensky and Biden wanted to go to war with the Russian Federation Now Zelensky asks for the world’s remaining Russian assets, demanding they be turned over to Ukraine. Zelensky and Biden have done all the damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure and population by engaging Russia in a war of attrition, believing they’ll eventually defeat the Russian Federation. Whether Putin was justified or no, the war could have been settled at the peace table, with Zelensky accepting Putin’s requests for independence for Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea.
Before the Feb. 24 war, Zelensky has no control over Donetsk, Luhansk or Crimea so why is he fighting a war with the Russian Federation, allowing the U.S. to give unlimited arms and cash? Without U.S. cash, the Kiev government would be bankrupt, something Zelensky has hidden from the world. His war against the Russian Federation with U.S. arms and cash is a colossal publicity stunt to turn the Western world against Russia. Biden has failed to convince China, India and Saudi Arabia to join the coalition against Putin. Biden selfishly didn’t consider the effect on the U.S. and world economy by launching a Western embargo on Russian oil. Only recently, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, 72, opened up a Ruble account so he could continue buying Russian oil. Other countries, especially the U.S., has suffered with Biden Russian oil boycott, causing shortages and skyrocketing prices.
Biden has never explained why he adopted Ukraine as a 51st state, subsidizing the government and war with the Kremlin. Americans suffer everyday at the pump with rising gas and commodity prices, paying higher prices for just a bout everything. Biden stepped into a border dispute between Ukraine and Russia, half-way around the globe, supplying Ukraine, on Russia’s border, with unlimited lethal arms and cash. When the U.S. went to war in Afghanistan or Iraq, the Russian Federation didn’t lead a coalition to boycott U.S. products. Whatever Putin’s reasons for invading Ukraine, what’s Biden doing committing the U.S. treasury to subsiding Ukraine and the war? Whether admitted to or not, the Ukraine war his run out of the White House, not Kiev. Biden’s foolish attempt to topple the Russian Federation has cost Ukraine dearly in terms of lives, infrastructure and future.
Zelensky’s plea to divert frozen Russian assets around the globe to Ukraine is preposterous. He decided with U.S. backing to take on the Russian Federation and has lost nearly his entire Black Sea Coast. Getting back that costal property won’t be easy now or in the future, requiring Ukraine to go to the peace table. No matter how much sophisticated weaponry Ukraine gets from the U.S., it won’t be enough to reclaim all the lost real estate because Zelensky arrogantly decided to take on the Kremlin. “We invite partner countries to sign a multilateral agreement and create a mechanism ensuring the everybody who suffered from Russian actions can receive compensation for all losses incurred,” Zelensky said. Zelensky pretends that he had no choice but to battle the Kremlin to the death. Putin put out his conditions that were flatly rejected. Zelensky has no one to blame but himself for all the destruction.
