On a “secret mission” to Kiev, 59-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken and 68-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev at an undisclosed location. Bearing gifts, Blinken and Austin gave Ukraine $300 million in military financing, approving $165 million more in ammunition. Blinken and Austin’s meeting with Zelensky infuriated the Kremlin, warning today that continuing to arm Ukraine would pour “oil on the flames of war,” not help push the conflict toward resolution in Istanbul. Biden’s decision to send Blinken and Auustin shows that the Ukraine War is run out of the White House, not Kiev. Kremlin officials, led by 72-year-old Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, say that arming Ukraine was the reason why 69-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine Feb. 24

Biden repeatedly says the Ukraine was “unprovoked and unjustified,” something 69-year-old Chinese President Xi Jinping disagrees. Xi said that NATO encroachment on the Russian Federation led to the Ukraine invasion, refusing Biden’s demands to denounce Putin. Biden’s plan to cripple Russia’s economy by applying the most sweeping sanctions in history backfired, because the White House didn’t consider that 50% of global states continue to do business with the Russian Federation, especially when it comes to energy. Biden thought he could build a coalition in the European Union to punish Putin economically for his Ukraine invasion. Biden found out quickly that Russia does business all over the world in Latin American, Africa and Asia, all refuse to join Biden’s Western sanctions. Biden has responded by feeding Ukraine unlimited amounts of cash and lethal weapons.

Giving Ukraine $300 million in Pentagon grants allows Ukraine to purchase whatever equipment it wants to prosecute its war against the Kremlin. Today’s Kremlin warning about the U.S. continuing to arm Ukraine puts the conflict dangerously close to WW III. One mistake, one mishap, one miscalculation could trigger Biden to send U.S. troops to Ukraine, starting WW III on the European Continent. Biden hasn’t listened carefully to Brussels and NATO, thinking they’re all in on supporting his proxy war using Ukrainian troops to battle the Russian Federation. Blinken announced that 50-year-old Trump appointee senior State Department diplomat Bridget Brink will become Ukraine’s next ambassador, not that it makes much difference. What makes a difference today is that Biden realizes that arming Ukraine will continue a war that’s reduced Ukraine to waste.

Zelensky’s too busy retaliating at the Kremlin to realize he’s now in the cross-hairs of the U.S. battling the Russian Federation. When you consider the long Cold War, it was inevitable, one day, the two nuclear-armed superpowers would go at it with each other. Let there be no mistake, the U.S. and Russia are at war in Ukraine, using Ukrainian soldiers as proxies to fight a long-coming war between the U.S. and Russia. Brussels has not come up to speed at what’s happening in Ukraine. Ukraine isn’t battling for its “freedom,” “sovereignty” or “territorial integrity.” Ukraine battles the Russian Federation for the purpose of toppling Putin. Unlike the EU, Kremlin officials figured out what the war is really about. Sending Blinken and Ausitin to Kiev showed that Biden’s running the Ukraine War from the White House. Once Brussels catches up, they’ll voice loud objections to Biden’s current plans.

Zelensky keeps telling the U.S. and NATO that all he needs are more advanced weapons systems to battle the Kremlin. What he doesn’t get is that he’s being used by Biden to fight a U.S. proxy war against the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been reduced to rubble in war zones around the country. Day by day, Putin’s army grinds down Ukraine, turning back the clock on all the progress made since Ukraine became independent from the Soviet Union in 1991. Of all the NATO countries, only the United States has taken such an active role in Ukraine’s defense. No other NATO country is willing to take on the Russian Federation. Kremlin officials believe that U.S. runs the Ukraine War out of the White House, making the stakes for Europe all the more risky. Biden and Zelensky have showed no interest in going to Istanbul and working out an acceptable ceasefire agreement.

U.S. involvement in the Ukraine War shows that it’s currently run out of the White House. Sending Blinken and Austin to Kiev yesterday, Biden wants Ukraine to know that he’s 100% invested in defeating the Russian Federation. Biden and Zelensky think that with the right equipment, Ukraine can drive the Russian Federation out of Ukraine, handing Putin a career-ending defeat. Members of the EU and NATO want no part of Biden’s gambit in Ukraine, supplying unlimited amounts of cash-and-arms to Kiev to battle the Kremlin. Biden found out the hard way the numerous countries around the globe, including China and India, refuse to join the economic war against the Russian Federation. Biden has move the U.S. beyond economic war into a shooting war using Ukrainian troops with Moscow. Everyday that the shooting goes on, the risk of WW III becomes more likely.
