House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), 80, acted clueless, saying she doesn’t understand the nationwide smash-and-grab robberies at some of the most prestigious retail stores in the most desirable areas in the United States. Despite hosting the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, Pelosi pretends she has no idea what happened Jan. 6 or, for that matter, no understanding of what happened in the summer of 2020 with four months of rioting, looting, arson and anarchy, all blamed on the police killing of 46-year-old George Floyd May 25, 202o. Instead of condemning the nationwide violence that swept across the country, Pelosi accepted the Black Lives Matter formula of de-funding police around the country. Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues fiddled while Roma burned, meaning Democrat elected officials did little to stop the nationwide rioting.
When it comes to her hometown of San Francisco, Pelosi couldn’t fathom the crime spree, gutting the most prestigious retail stores in the U.S. “It’s absolutely outrageous. Obviously it cannot continue,” Pelosi said, two-and-a-half-years after the rioting, looting, arson and anarchy started after Floyd’s death. Pelosi never called the nationwide rioting by largely African Americans “outrageous” or said it cannot continue. In fact, Democrat elected officials refused to allow the police to do their jobs, allowing the rioting, looting, arson and anarchy to go on for months. Pelosi condemns in the strongest possible terms former President Donald Trump for not stopping the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, something Pelosi called an “insurrection.” When the U.S. Senate acquitted Trump Feb. 13 in his second impeachment trial, Pelosi was more determined than ever to get another shot at Trump in the House Select Committee.
Pelosi joined other Democrat politicians like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and groups like Black Lives Matter calling for the police to be de-funded. When police departments around the country were demoralized by the George Floyd police killing, they watched their policing authority eviscerated by elected officials like Pelosi. “These people coordinate with each other and they plan traffic patterns and the rest so they can reach their goal and depart very quickly” Pelos said, admitting that the smash-and-grab robberies were carefully coordinated around the country. Just like the House Select Committee wants to blame the Jan. 6 riots on Trump, Pelosi now acknowledges that the nationwide smash-and-grab robberies must stop. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez disagreed with Pelsoi, saying she didn’t believe that smash-and-grab robberies were real, contradicting the House Speaker.
So when Pelosi gropes to figure out the origin of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, she’s not willing to concede that the rabble rousers planned the Capitol vandalism for months. At the time of Trump’s impeachment trial, nine House managers said that Trump incited and insurrection because of his Jan. 6 speech on Washington, D.C.’s Ellipse. It took a few weeks for investigators to find that groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers planned the riots for months. But at the time of Trump’s impeachment hearing, Nine House managers accused Trump of “incitement of insurrection” at his Jan. 6 speech. House managers didn’t backtrack once they found out the FBI knew about a possible riot for months. So, when Pelosi says she doesn’t know why the Jan. 6 riot took place, she needs to look no further that the four months of riots, looting, arson and anarchy over the long hot 2020 summer.
Pelosi doesn’t name the predominant race of the smash-and-grab robbers, despite the fact they’re overwhelmingly black. So why wasn’t Pelosi concerned about smash-and-grab robberies when she said nothing the summer 2020 about all the riots, looting, arson and anarchy? “This isn’t like somebody stealing something to go home because they don’t have money to buy. This is about stealing for profit,” Pelosi said, showing that she actually backed the rights of African Americans to loot and burn down American cities. When former President Donald Trump called the rioters domestic terrorists, Pelosi and other Democrat elected officials felt rioters had a right to the mayhem. Pelosi makes the distinction that the 2020 riots were justified based on a cry of racial justice, where today’s riots are based on greed. Pelosi has nothing to say to Ocasio-Cortez who doubts smash-and-grab robberies.
Pelosi comments about “smash-and-grab” robberies show she has two systems of justice, one for racial protesters and the other for garden variety thieves. Pelosi and other Democrats infuriated the white mob that showed up on Jan. 6, trying to make a point the white folks can riot too. Making the distinction about ordinary robberies and racial protests, Pelosi shows that it’s OK to break the law when you say it’s under the banner of social justice. Democrat mayors around the country have recently endorsed re-funding the police, where a law enforcement presence is needed to maintain law-and-order in society. When you consider the news media wants to convict former President Donald Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 riot, it’s no accident that the U.S. media blames Trump for the mayhem. Pelosi and her Democrat following want the country to blame Trump for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
