If there were ever a case for invoking the 25th Amendment, it’s with 79-year-old President Joe Biden whose cognitive impairments have been getting worse, now leaving him unfit for duty. Biden recently fabricated stories about know Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir at a time when he was a law student at Syracuse University. Biden said he met Golda Meir in 1967, two years before she served a Israeli Prime Minister in 1969. Whatever other embellishments to an otherwise lackluster academic and political record, Biden shows a propensity for serial fabr8cation, like when he told a whopper about getting arrested on the streets of Soweto with the U.S. ambassador visiting South African President Nelson Madela when he was released from Robbens Island prison. Biden, of course, was never arrested, nor did he ever meet at the time with Nelson Mandela, complete fabrications.

Biden’s inability to tell the truth or know what he’s talking about, whether on domestic or foreign policy, puts him as a national security threat. With so much responsibility managing affairs of state, Biden has shown that he’s making a mess of U.S. foreign policy, especially damaging relations with Russia and China. Biden’s tall tales fall into the category of cognitive decline, someone conflating fact, not able to discern truth from fiction. When it comes to dealing with dangerous situations around the planet, Biden now presents a serious liability, something the media has ignored. U.S. media was invested in getting former President Donald Trump out of office, they were willing to make a Faustian bargain endorsing Biden, unwilling to admit basic facts that threaten the United States. U.S. media relentlessly went after former President Trump but only makes excuses for Biden.

Biden tells the media whatever he wants, not because he has the facts but because he makes up things as he goes. No one in the press fact checks Biden’s endless flows of gaffes and fabrications, attributing them to a past stuttering problem. When the media went after Trump’s every word, they make only excuses for the cognitively challenged president whose deficits now endanger domestic and foreign policy. When it comes to the massive federal budget deficits and whopping national debt, Biden tells the press that spending trillions more on his Build Back Better plan will actually reduce inflation that suddenly reared its ugly head. Biden acts like adding billions to federal budget deficit and trillions on the national debt won’t have any adverse consequence on inflation and the U.S. economy. When it comes for foreign policy, Biden is equally clueless, reckless and dangerous.

Biden’s been pushing a foreign policy that practically has the U.S. going to war with Russia and China. He’s behaved so recklessly issuing warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping that he’s put U.S. national security in peril. Whether admitted to or not by Democrats and the press, Biden has shown the kind of impaired judgment that could get the U.S. into a war with Russia and China. China’s recent actions sending warplanes into the Taiwan Strait directly relate to Biden deputizing Australia to run patrols with American-made nuclear submarines in the South China Sea. China reacted harshly to Biden saying he had Taiwan’s back, meaning he would defend Tawain in the event of a Chinese invasion. Biden knows that the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act ended the U.S. mutual defense treaty with Taiwan. Biden has pushed the U.S. to the brink with Russia and China.

Biden’s fabrications whether about past meetings with Israeli’s Golda Meir or South Africa’s Nelson Mandela have more to do with Biden’s advancing dementia than insecurity, trying to beef up his resume to impress voters. U.S. media must admit that whenever Trump spoke, they found fault with everything he said, largely because he called out the press as “fake news.” While the press was glad to see Trump go, they’ve now opted for a president that lacks the cognitive capacity to perform his job. Only the press continues to defend Biden, pretending he doesn’t have cognitive impairments that affect his judgment on domestic and foreign policy. If a disabled president gets the U.S. into a shooting war with Russia or China, that would be a catastrophic mistake. Judging by how he’s done with Russia and China diplomacy, the U.S. is in the most dangerous place since the Cold War.

Biden’s hyperbole and fabrications must be seen by the media as evidence of cognitive impairment that affects his ability to do his job. U.S. press must stop defending Biden and report factually his misstatements and outright fabrications. U.S. national security depends on a president capable to getting along U.S. adversaries like Russia and China. Since taking office, Biden has alienated Putin and Xi to the point that there are growing prospects of military confrontation, once though unthinkable by generations of U.S. presidents. No one in the Democrat-friendly press calls Biden out for endangering U.S. national security or jeopardizing the U.S. economy. All the extreme bias against Trump leaves the media blinded to the real dangers posed by a president suffering from age-related cognitive decline or something worse. Biden’s Cabinet and Congress must heed Biden’s problems before it’s too late.
