When the 61-year-old Director of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas released a declassified report on the Oct. 2, 2018 murder in Istanbul’s Saudi Embassy, the consensus among U.S. intel agencies was that the hit was ordered by 35-year-old Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman [MBS]. Like other things in the U.S., like the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and mob scene, the media wants to charge, try, convict and sentence the guilty ones in the press. Forget about real evidence, the media could care less about facts, only advancing their narrative, this time how 78-year-old President Joe Biden should be the one sentencing MBS. Forget about other world leaders doing business with the Kingdom, only the U.S. must, according to the U.S. press, play judge, jury and executioner. Biden showed some wisdom resisting the media’s pressure to sanction MBS for Khashoggi’s death.

Saudi Arabia made clear to Biden that MBS accepted responsibility for Khashoggi’s death, something that happened on his watch, but denied in the strongest possible terms the leaps-of-logic in the Feb. 26 declassified intel report saying that MBS ordered or approved the hit on the exiled Saudi journalist. “The report . . . is based on could’ve, should’ve and would’ve and does not rise to anywhere close to proving the accusations beyond an reasonable doubt,” said Saudi Amb. Aballah Al-Mouallimi in a Twitter Post. No matter what the media says or wants, it’s never enough unless they get their way, whether with MBS or, more recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin, for whom the media has tried, convicted and sentenced him to poisoning and persecuting 44-year-old Russian dissident Alexi Navalny. Like Bin Salman, the media wants Biden to Sanction Putin and the Kremlin.

Whether Khashoggi or Navalny, the same phony media persists that the U.S. must sit in judgment and punish any country that doesn’t subscribe to the media’s moral code when it comes dissidents or insurgents seeking to undermine the Russian Federation or the Saudi Monarchy. Can you think of any more hypocrisy when it comes to the U.S. media when it comes to Khashoggi and Navalny? In Khashoggi’s case, he did his best at the Washington Post to topple the Saudi monarchy, something that didn’t happen but resulted in Khashoggi’s death. What country anywhere on the globe gives insurgents calling for toppling a U.N.-sovereign state a free pass? When Khashoggi entered the Saudi embassy Oct. 2, 2018 in Istanbul, what was he thinking? Spending years writing to overthrow Bin Salaman got him killed, whether or not U.S. intel agencies think it was ordered by Bin Salman or not.

U.S. media condemns in the strongest possible terms eztra-judicial assassinations unless it’s approved by Democrats, like former President Barack Obama when he decided to topple Col. Muammar Gaddafi’s regime Oct. 20, 2011. Then the media cheers the U.S. toppling a ruthless tyrant, where extra-judicial assassinations have the media’s consent. But when it comes to Saudi Arabia, how dare Bin Salman order or approve Khashoggi’s assassination. What did the media say when former President Bill Clinton toppled the Serbian government of Slobodan Milosevic, accusing him of ethnic cleansing or whatever excuse at the time. All the U.S. media cheered Clinton’s bombing of Serbia even when it created an ecological catastrophe in the Blue Danube. When it came to the media, they fully backed bombing Serbia into submission, then carving up the Balkans up like Swiss Cheese in the Dec. 14, 1995 Dayton Accords.

Think about the media’s reaction more recently when Trump ordered the Jan. 3, 2020 predator drone attack on Iran’s Al-Qud’s chief Qassem Soleimani and Kataib Hezbollah chief Abu Mahid Al-Munhandris. U.S. media were apoplectic with rage against Trump, saying that he destabilized the Mideast. Yet if it involves a Democrat president like former President Barack Obama, the media was all in on toppling 55-year-ols Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, spent eight years supplying arms-and-cash to Syrian rebel groups, some enemies of the U.S. like Al Qaeda and ISIS, to topple al-Assad. Over eight years, Obama’s proxy war killed 500,000 and displaced 12 million more to neighboring counties and Europe. Syria’s War created the worst humanitarian crisis since WW II.

Oozing hypocrisy the American press seeks nothing short of war with the Russian Federation, knowing it could be the end of civilization as we know it. Sanction Putin the U.S. press tells Biden because he mistreated 44-year-old Russian dissident Alexi Navalny. Navalny claimed Putin ordered his poisoning with Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok. Because Navalny had the book thrown at him by the Kremlin for trying to overthrow the Russian state, the U.S. media would have Biden sanction Putin and possibly go to war with the Russian Federation. Where’s the U.S. press’s patriotism when they’d push the president into a suicide mission. Navalny is well known in Russia as a Trotskyite, a revolutionary seeking to topple the Russian Federation. U.S. media cheered the Democrat-House led Congress for prosecuting Trump for “incitement of insurrection,” a far worse crime charge than Navalny.
