Slamming 49-year-old multi-billionaire Tesla Motors and SapceX entrepreneur Elon Musk, 77-year-old Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) displayed everything that’s wrong with today’s nationwide protests, where police brutality has been lost in the fog of violent street protests. Sanders reacted angrily to Musk’s Tweet expressing his opposition to another bailout currently bandied about in Congress. When the $2.2 trillion CARES Act went into place March 27, the government added to the nearly $28 trillion national debt, something Musk thinks could have lasting consequences to the U.S. economy. Sanders can’t understand anyone opposing mass government spending, something he wants to keep adding to federal budget deficits and the national debt. If 77-year-old former Vice President and Presumptive nominee Joe Biden listens to Bernie, the country could head toward bankruptcy.
Bernie, who’s now part of Biden’s inner circle, has been advising Joe to implement many of his radical economic proposals, including paying for free college tuition, giving Medicare-for-all to every American citizen, including illegal aliens, passing immigration reform that essentially opens up U.S. borders, signing into the Green New Deal, and taxing entrepreneurs like Musk. “What a hypocrite. Elon Musk has received billions in corporate welfare from U.S. taxpayers. Now he wants to stop 30 million American who lost jobs form receiving $600 a week in unemployment benefits while his wealth has gone up $46.7 billion over the past four months,” Sanders tweeted. Bernie has done nothing to employ one American citizen, instead finding more ways to transform the U.S. into a socialist state. He rips Must for taking “corporate welfare,” something that never happened.
Musk received government seed money to develop and mass market electric vehicles to save the U.S and world from tailpipe emissions making some cities, especially in China, so toxic residents wears gas masks, not to stop the deadly coronavirus AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 but to breathe the polluted air. Bernie’s the one, not Musk, who’s the hypocrite but far worse, since he’s never created any jobs other that sponging off the government for his entire career. Musk has created on U.S. soil the world’s premier electric care company, now turning well-deserved profits for sticking with his dream of zero tailpipe emissions. When Bernie stood mesmerized along with every other American May 30 when Musk’s Crew Dragon capsule lifted off Cape Canaveral with two U.S. astronauts to the International Space Station [ISS], he wasn’t writing nasty tweets to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
Bernie’s intemperate outburst shows how he’s lost it since losing to Biden in the Democrat primaries, relegated to the dustbin for his presidential ambitions. Now content to fire off nasty tweets that make no sense, Bernie’s directs his ire at the wrong person. Musk has done more for the United States than any other entrepreneur and scientist since Thomas Edison. Musk’s more than entitled to his opinion on more government bailouts, falling victim with Tesla Motors to the mass hysteria over coronavirus shutting down his Tesla plant in Freemont, Calif. Where was Sanders when Calif. Gov. Newsom decided to shut down Tesla’s U.S. factory, sending autoworkers into unemployment? Instead of looking for government bailouts, Sanders should encourage the government to stop spending money it doesn’t have, putting generations of U.S. citizens into more debt and financial jeopardy.
Whatever Musk earns from Tesla or SpaceX it’s well deserved, considering what it’s done for the country producing zero emission vehicles and giving the U.S. a second chance in space. Musk’s Crew Dragon capsule and Falcon 9 rocket has reopened manned space flight since the obsolete Space Shuttle Fleet was retired in 2011. Instead of paying Russia $350 million to ferry U.S. astronauts to-and-from the ISS, the U.S. finally has the next generation spaceship, with plans to go to the moon, then Mars in the not-too-distant future. Americans owe Musk only gratitude for reestablishing NASA’s manned space operations. Sanders, who knows nothing other than collecting government paychecks, knows nothing about creating jobs or the greatest innovations of the 21st Century. “Another government stimulus package is not in the best interest of the people imo,” Tweeted Musk
