Exposing an FBI counter-intelligence probe Jan. 11 to find whether or not President Donald Trump was working for the Kremlin, the New York Times accidentally raised disturbing questions of corruption at the FBI. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) wanted answers from the FBI how this was possible, but, more importantly, what evidence led to the investigation. Reporting that Trump was under FBI investigation about his ties to the Kremlin, goes the heart—and credibility—of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Trump collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign. After 17 months of investigation Mueller has found no evidence of Trump’s collusion, certainly not the FBI’s counter-intelligence probe suggesting Trump worked for the Kremlin. Trump responded with outrage Jan. 12 on Fox News show “Justice Judge Jeannie” with host Jeannie Pirro.

Getting too desperate for headlines, the New York Times reported on old news, something mentioned by former FBI Director James Comey before he was fired by Trump May 9, 2017. Testifying in the House Intelligence Committee Dec. 7, 2018, Comey admitted that the FBI used more than former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s paid opposition research on Trump, the so-called “dossier.” Paid by Hillary and compiled by FusionGPS, an opposition research group, the unverified charges accused Trump of working for the Kremlin. Hillary accused Trump of being a “Putin Puppet” Oct. 20, 2016 in the final presidential debate before the Nov. 6, 2016 presidential election. Hillary tried desperately to discredit Trump by accusing him of working for the Kremlin. When that all backfired Nov. 6, 2016 losing the election, Democrats and the anti-Trump press continue the narrative.

Hillary pointed fingers a practically everyone following her career-ending loss to Trump in the 2016 presidential election. She blamed Comey, she blamed the Russians and she blamed Trump for selling his soul to Russia to win the election. She never blamed herself for having too much baggage or failing to campaign enough in battleground states. Reprising the old narrative about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin exposes the New York Times and Washington Post as the two of the country’s most anti-Trump publicans. But inadvertently it raised more questions about systemic corruption at former President Barack Obama’s Justice Department, National Security Agency and FBI. Comey reluctantly admitted that he obtained warrants to wiretap former Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court in the 2016 campaign.

Justice Department, FBI and National Security Agency admitted to wiretapping former Attorney Gen. Jeff Sessions and former National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. Flynn was prosecuted by Mueller for perjury while Sessions was forced to recuse himself from the Russian probe. There’s now reason to believe that Sessions was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee with the intent of appointing a Special Counsel to investigate Trump. Without the wiretap, Sessions would have never recused himself from the Russian probe, never permitting the Special Counsel. When the New York Times raised the FBI’s internal probe on Trump, it opened up Pandora’s Box. “I am going to ask the FBI Director—was there a counter-intelligence investigation opened up regarding the president as being a potential agent of the Russia. I find it astonishing,” said Graham on Fox News Sunday.

Graham wants the FBI to disclose all its evidence to open up a counter-intelligence probe on Trump. If it looks like Comey used mainly the “dossier,” Graham’s going to ask the FBI a lot more questions. Graham specifically wants to know who in the Obama White House authorized the FBI to go after Trump. Mounting evidence suggests that Hillary coordinated carefully with the Obama administration to sabotage Trump’s presidential campaign. Thousands of emails and text messages exchanged between former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his mistress former FBI Atty. Lisa Page indicate a well orchestrated FBI effort to sabotage Trump’s presidential campaign. Graham wants to know whether the FBI’s counter-intelligence probe on Trump happened before or after Comey was fired May 9, 2017. If it happened before-or-after, it showed a conspiracy at the FBI to sabotage Trump.

Going after Trump and his campaign associates was an unprecedented abuse of the Justice Department, FBI and National Security Agency. Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice admitted Sept. 18, 2017 that she unmasked Trump campaign officials, including Flynn and Sessions. “The notion that President Trump is a threat to American national Security is absolutely ludicrous,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told CBS “Face the Nation” Jan. 13. Democrat lawmakers continue to press the Russian narrative before the release of Mueller’s report on 2016 Russian election meddling and alleged Trump collusion. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Il.) and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) are leading the media blitz to tie Trump to Moscow. With Atty. Gen. nominee Bob Barr starting his confirmation hearings Jan. 15 in the Senate Judiciary Committee, expect a lot of fireworks.
