Rolling with the fake news story that 71-year-old President Donald Trump is on the verge of firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the president continues to tweet what he thinks of the Russian collusion probe. Trump accused Mueller’s team of Democrat bias against, with former members of the Special Counsel’s team actually texting disparaging messages about Trump during the campaign. What’s most disturbing is not Trump’s tweets to defend himself against the mainstream press, it’s the monopoly of bad reporting against the president. That monopoly of negative reporting in the mainstream press was confirmed by a May 21, 2017 in a Harvard study showing up to 93% of negative reporting against Trump. While Democrats and their allies in the press try-and-convict Trump of Russian collusion, they won’t consider verified abuses at the Justice Department, FBI and National Security Agency.
Trump can’t get, according to the Harvard study, fair reporting, forcing him to resort to Twitter to get the word out about the 2016 presidential campaign. “Why does the Mueller team have 13 hardened Democrats, some big Crooked Hillary supporters, and Zero Republicans? Another Dem recently added . . . does any on think this if fair? And yet, there is NO COLLUSION,” tweeted Trump, prompting the media to accuse Trump of sabotaging Muller’s probe. If Trump doesn’t tweet, where can the public learn the facts of what really happened in 2016? Former FBI Director James Come continues to attack Trump, promising to give his side of the story in an upcoming memoir, no doubt touted by the anti-Trump press. But if Comey were really giving the truth, why did he say May 10, 2017, one day after getting fired, that Trump had every right to terminate his employment?
Special Counsel Robert Mueller was forced last summer to remove FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, attorney Lisa Page from the Special Counsel team after the New York Times published an email exchange between the two ranting about Trump. But the mainstream press doesn’t mention this, any more than House Intelligence Committee Co-Chairman Adam Schiff {D-Calif.) questions anything the Justice Department, FBI or National Security Agecny did to wiretap the Trump campaign. To Schiff, the FBI, DOJ and NSA did nothing wrong, had plenty of reason to wiretap and collect data on Trump campaign officials. Yet there’s never been a DOJ, FBI and NSA politicized to use the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to seek wiretaps or “unmask” incidental communication in a presidential campaign. Trump accused Comey of leaking information to the press.
Comey was asked May 3, 2017 under oath in the Senate Judiciary Committee by Sen. Chuck Grassely (R-Iowa) whether he was ever the source or knew anyone who was the source of an anonymous media leak. Press reports say Comey was fired last year for not “effectively leading the bureau.” But Deputy DOJ Director Rod Rosenstein detailed in a three-page memo May 10, 2017 the reasons Comey got the ax. No one in the mainstream press every quotes Rosenstein’s memo on the reasons behind Comey’s firing. Rosenstein is portrayed as a hero in the press for getting Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions to recuse himself and appointing Mueller May 17, 2017 as Special Counsel. But the press only wants to accuse Trump of obstruction of justice for firing Comey, refusing to cite Rosentein’s detailed analysis for Comey’s termination. Today’s reporting on the Special Counsel’s Russian probe is 100% biased against Trump.
No one in the mainstream press considers that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton prevailed on Obama’s DOJ, FBI and NSA to wiretap Trump campaign officials to give her a leg up in the general election. Hillary faced an all-consuming email scandal where she paid a tech firm to scrub 33,000 emails from her personal server. Trump could never understand how Comey acquitted Hillary July 6, 2016, only weeks before the Democratic National Convention. “Wow, watch Comey lie under oath to Senator G when asked ‘Have you ever been an anonymous source . . .or know some else to be an anonymous source . .. ?’ He said strongly, ‘never, no,’ He lied as shown by Fox and Friends,” tweeted Trump Shortly after fired last year, Comey had a friend leak to the press he had secret notes on Trump trying to talk him out of going after former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn.
When Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe March 16, only two days before his retirement, the media publishes reports about Sessions inconsistent testimony about opposing establishing Russian contacts during the transition period. Discrediting anything Trump or Sessions fits with the media’s anti-Trump bias. Sessions fired McCabe when the DOJ’s Inspector General revealed that McCabe inappropriately leaked information to the press. Comey and McCabe both claim to have personal notes on Trump’s attempt at obstruction of Justice. MeCabe, who headed the Hillary email probe, not once questioned her destroying evidence off her personal email server while under Congressional subpoena. Now both Comey and McCabe say they’ve go the goods on Trump because of their “personal notes.” With so much malfeasance at the FBI, they’ve lost precious credibility.
