After spending four years hyping 74-year-old President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, the media finds itself caught in a big lie promoting the Russian collusion theory. Untold numbers of articles in the New York Times, Washington Post and other newspapers tied Trump to Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign, adopting former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign talking points that Trump was a “Putin puppet.” When it came time to back the Special Counsel Mueller investigation, the media was all in, even though 75-year-old former FBI Director Robert Mueller knew that the “Steel Dossier” on which Hillary based her allegations was pure rubbish. Steele’s been under suspicion and indictment for refusing to come clean about the fabricated salacious allegations against Trump contained in his dossier and used by the FBI to wiretap Trump’s presidential campaign.
When push came to shove in a March 16 British Court appearance, Steele admitted he deleted all files connected with his dossier, prepared for Glen Simpson’s FusionGPS opposition research firm used by Hillary and the Democrat National Committee [DNC] deleting all files meant that Steele has no way to verify the contents of the dossier other than to say he once had sources. Whatever was in the dossier back in 2016, it was enough for the late Sen. John McCain (R-Az.) to hand to former FBI Director James Comey to open up a counterintelligence investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign. McCain and Comey knew at the time that the contents of Steele’s dossier was utter rubbish, noting, in the wildest way, could be used as probable cause in any criminal action against Trump or his campaign. But that’s exactly what Comey did when he went to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court.
Atty. Gen. Bill Barr and U.S. Atty. Gen. John Durham (R-Conn.) are currently working with a grand jury to prepare indictments of former Obama administration officials that were involved in spying the Trump campaign. Comey denied “spying” on the Trump campaign April 19, saying he didn’t know “what the heck Barr was talking about.” Comey should find out soon what Barr means when he’s indicted for an illegal counterintelligence investigation predicated on Hillary’s fake Steele dossier. Comey, who was fired by Trump May 9, 2017, was actively involved in a conspiracy at the upper echelon’s of the FBI to sabotage Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign to help Hillary get elected. All the media joined in the sabotage before-and-after Trump’s election, writing untold number of wild stories without attribution, using anonymously sourced material, largely coming from Comey.
Trump tweeted today that he commuted Stone’s 40-month sentence because it was based on “an illegal Witch-Hunt,” something Obama Justice Department, FBI, CIA, National Security Agency [NSA] all participated in. “Roger Stone was targeted by an illegal Witch Hunt that never should have taken place. It is the other side that are criminals, including Biden and Obama, who spied on my campaign—AND GOT CAUGHT!” Trump tweeted. Usually Trump-averse NBC was reluctant to dispute Trump’s tweet, knowing that Barr and Durham’s indictments are likely to follow soon. When that happens, it’s going to send shockwaves through the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC and other print and broadcast news outlets that promoted the Russian hoax for four years. Trump said Christopher Steele should have been prosecuted for his fraud.
Inside the DNC and its coordinated media campaign against Trump’s reelection, executive leadership is starting to sweat, knowing they’re about to be exposed together with former Obama White House officials for an illegal spying operation. “This man should have extradited, tried, and throw into jail,” Trump tweeted about Steele. “A sick liar who was paid by Crooked Hillary and the DNC!’ For anyone thinking that Trump lacks his faculties, he strung together all the dots that are about to come out with Barr and Durham’s investigation. What the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, etc. going to say? They never said Trump or his campaign was guilty of Russian collusion. Hillary led the way with Steele’s fake dossier but the Obama White House, Justice Department, FBI, CIA and NSA all bought in. Democrats and the media hoped they could impeach Trump for Russian collusion.
When Trump fired Comey May 9, 2017, the former Obama White House and National Security apparatus closed ranks, hoping they could cover up the conspiracy by getting rid of Trump with a Special Counsel investigation. Twenty-two months and $40 million later, Mueller found March 23, 2019 that Trump and his campaign had no ties to Russia. No big surprise, since Mueller knew from Day One the Steele dossier was fake. Now the chickens have come home to roost with Barr and Durham closing in on key players in the illegal counterintelligence investigation of Trump’s campaign. While Barr and Durham won’t indict the heads of broadcast and print outlets, the illegality of the investigation with ensuing indictments reflect horribly on broadcast and print outlets that promoted the hoax on the public. Commuting Stone was the first shot across the bow to Democrats and the media establishment.
