Growing evidence from the World Health Organization [WHO] shows that China has a controlling interest in the U.N. watchdog, with 66-year-old Chinese President Xi Jinping lobbying heavily for 55-year-old Ethiopian Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to become WHO’s Director-General July 1, 2017. When questioning the origin of the coronaviurs AKA CoV-2 or Covid-19 pandemic, it’s clear the WHO was not out in front of the crisis that’s infected 1,431.691 and killed 82,078. WHO became aware in December 2019 that China was infected with a highly contagious virus, similar to SARS, creating a spiraling epidemic in Wuhan, China. Tedros was well aware that China was sending millions of its citizens to vacation in popular destinations in Europe, the United States and all over the world, knowing Chinese citizens could carry a highly contagious, deadly infectious disease wreaking havoc in China.
China’s President Xi Jinping has strong ties to WHO, with his wife Peng Liyuan a long-time goodwill ambassador for WHO efforts fighting tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Xi provides millions in foreign aid to Ethiopia, Tedros’s home country. Tedros openly criticized 73-year-old President Donald Trump for banning flights to the U.S. Jan. 31, knowing the Wuhan SARS CoV-2 epidemic was spiraling out of control. “The Chinese government is to be congratulated for the extraordinary measures it has take to contain the outbreak,” Tedros said Feb. 8, two days before announcing WHO would send an infectious disease team to China. That was two months after the outbreak that China suppressed, fearing it would affect trade relations with the rest of the world, especially the United States. No, Tedros praised the PRC for taking “extraordinary measures” to contain the virus.
Tedros said nothing about the major infectious disease outbreak in December and January, until Trump banned flights into the U.S. from China. WHO receives about $86 million in it annual budget from China, has only friendly words for the PRC. “The speed with which China detected the outbreak, isolated the virus, sequenced the genome and shared it with WHO and the world are very impressive beyond words,” Tedros said Feb. 8, covering up China’s gross negligence. China sets “a new standard” for managing an infectious disease crisis,” Tedros said, repeating the Communist Party’s pernicious propaganda. Tedros knows that he covered for China for two months, doing everything possible to ignore what was rapidly morphing into a global pandemic impacting over 200 countries. No, Tedros heaped high praise on China and himself while China unleashed a viral plague on the world.
Trump said today at his coronavirus briefing that something must be done with the World Health Organization [WHO]. When it comes to the coronaviurs AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 crisis WHO failed miserably in its U.N.-mandate to guard against deadly infectious disease outbreaks. Tedros let his business ties with China at WHO and Ethiopia eclipse his responsibility to a growing health emergency. Even after the SARS CoV-2 outbreak was jumping borders in January prompting Trump to issue his China travel ban Tedros refused to call the Wuhan epidemic a global pandemic. It took until March 11 before WHO declared SARS CoV-2 a global pandemic, two months too late. By that time world stock markets tanked, dropping global market wealth over $20 trillion. China offered no restrictions allowing millions of its citizens to travel to foreign lands infecting the world.
Tedros said Jan. 23 that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission outside China, even though worldwide infections hit 9,000 the next week. WHO’s delay in responding to China’s deadly SARS CoV-2 outbreak speaks volumes about China’s undo influence on the U.N.’s global medical watchdog organization. Under Tedros, WHO has zero credibility, making more excuses why China did a superb job in managing the virus. WHO never held China responsible to the biosecurity breach at Wuhan’s National Institute of Virology bioweapons lab that most likely leaked the deadly SARS CoV-2 virus to Wuhan’s population. While China admits to only 81,802 total cases and 3,333 deaths, 55-year-old British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, no stricken with Covid-19 in a London Hospital, said Britain MI6estimates China’s cases and deaths up to 40 times reported by the Communist Party
Xi put his thumb on Tedros to stop the open disclosure of Wuhan’s deadly coronavirus epidemic for purely selfish reasons: He was worried about China’s tourism and trade. Tedros capitulated to Xi’s demands because he’s so financially dependent on China’s largess to WHO. “China and WHO have extremely close ties,” said an unnamed Beijing diplomat. Next to the U.S., China’s the largest contributor to the U.N. and WHO. “There is no reason for measures that unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade,” Tedros said in Geneva Feb. 8, one week after Trump initiated a China travel ban. It’s one thing for China’s communist government to cover up a global infections disease emergency, still another for WHO to aid-and-abet China’s treachery that’s costs 82,078 lives worldwide and over $20 trillion in lost wealth. Tedros must resign immediately as WHO’s Director-General.
