Reported in the press like the Gospel of Luke, former Deputy Atty. Gen. Bruce Ohr told the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees Aug. 27 that an unnamed Russian Source told the creator of Hillary’s opposition research AKA “the dossier” Christopher Steele that “they had Trump over a barrel.” Ohr admitted to having an ongoing relationship with Steele whom confessed to having inside Kremlin contacts. Ohr questioned nothing of the fact that Steele was paid by the Hillary campaign and Democratic National Committee [DNC] to dig up dirt on Trump before the election. Ohr claims he had no skepticism at all over Steele’s claims, despite knowing that “the dossier” was bought-and-paid-for Hillary as opposition research. Ohr claims he had breakfast with Steele July 30, 2016, receiving the word from Steele’s unnamed source that Trump was compromised by the Russians.
Given Ohr’s description, it’s no wonder the CIA and practically every other intel agency got it wrong about Saddam Hussein’s stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. Ohr mentioned nothing to the House Oversight and Judiciary Committee that his wife Nellie worked for Glen Simpson’s FusionGPS, the company that hired Steele to put together Hillary’s opposition research against Trump. Knowing his wife worked for FusionGPS, Ohr ignored completely that “the dossier” was paid opposition research with zero credibility. He recalled prior contact with Steele, paid by FBI to investigate corruption Federation of International Football Association [FIFA]. Ohr told the House committee with a straight face that he learned over breakfast with Steele that an unnamed Russian source told Steele that “they had Trump over a barrel,” something that prompted an FBI investigation.
Ohr offered no facts just pure conjecture over his conversation with the former FBI’s paid human source Ohr admitted to having several meetings with Steele during the 2016 campaign, even after the FBI severed its paid relationship with Steele. Democrats on the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees had no problem with Ohr deviating from his job description to get involved with investigating Trump and his campaign associates. Ohr’s contacts with Steele prompted former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe to used Steele’s hearsay to present their case to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to obtain warrants to wiretap former Trump foreign policy aid Carter Page for alleged ties to the Kremlin. Page was never charged with spying, or anything else, attesting to the fact it was used as an excuse to investigate Trump.
Neither Democrats nor their friends in the media want to admit that former President Barack Obama approved the Justice Department, FBI and National Security Agency to investigate the Trump campaign with the purpose of sabotaging his chances in the Nov. 8 election. Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton practically stood on her head to make the case to the public that Trump was a “puppet” of Russian President Vladimir Putin. No matter how much dirt she amassed on Trump, it fell on deaf ears when it came to the election. Democrats and the press contend that the FBI, Justice Department and NSA relied on intel other that the so-called “dossier.” Yet when pressed what other intel, no one can say, all pointing back to Steele. Comey was already investigating Trump before her received the Steele dossier from the late Sen. John McCain in Dec. 2016.
Comey knew “the dossier” contents because Steele was on the FBI payroll, privy to all the unverified, salacious allegations. If there were anything factual about the Steele dossier, Page would have been charged under the Espionage Act. None of “the dossiers” contents proved factual. Ohr admitted to the Committee that he attended a breakfast meeting with Steele, a Steele associate and his wife Nellie, who worked for FusionGPS. No one at the Justice Department, FBI or National Security Agency, including National Security Advisor Susan Rice, questioned the specious nature of “the dossier” because they were all working on overdrive to elect Hillary. It wasn’t until former Deputy FBI Director Peter Strzok and his FBI lawyer mistress Lisa Page were found trading anti-Trump emails and texts that it became obvious that Obama’s Justice Department, FBI and NSA did everything possible to defeat Trump.
Democrats and the media today are actively involved in a cover-up to spare themselves embarrassment for engaging in a conspiracy to defeat Trump as the 2016 GOP presidential candidate. Ohr told the Committee that Steele told him that Trump associates traveled to Moscow to meet with senior Kremlin officials. Yet there’s zero proof of the allegations other than statements from anti-Trump Democrats like House Intelligence Committee Co-Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) who insists Trump ordered Russian hacking of the DNC and former Hillary Campaign Chairman John D. Podesta. Ohr admitted to the Committee that he didn’t tell his boss, former Deputy Atty. Gen. Sally Yates of his meetings with Steele. Once Ohr’s actions were public, FBI brass stripped him in late 2017 of his position heading the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force like they did to McCabe, Strzok and Page.
