LOS ANGELES.–After the Sept. 27 ABC News presidential debate, the Disney-owned news network fully exposed for over 70 million viewers its shameful political bias, letting moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis gang up with 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris on 78-year-old President Donald Trump. Trump stood his ground but was debating three-against-one, with ABC News throwing questions at Trump that clearly favored Kamala, like climate change and women’s reproductive rights. ABC News avoided the real issues facing voter in 2024 like runaway inflation and a disastrous foreign policy dragging the U.S. into WW III or nuclear war. Forget about war-and-peace issues, ABC News stuck to Kamala’s favorite topics of civil, gender and women’s rights and climate change, all weak spots for a GOP candidate. Now ABC News 63-year-old senior host George Stephanopoulos, former President Bill Clinton press secretary, says this is the most important election since the Civil War.
Stephanopoulos never apologizes for holding extreme Democrat bias while he attempts to report the news factually. Speaking on “This Week,” Stephanopoulos exposed the extent of his Democrat bias. “Good morning and welcome to “This Week,” George said. “It is almost over. What comes next is anyone’s guess. What we do know is this. No election since the Civil War has posed such a test of our constitutional system . . . ” implying, like Kamala’s key Democrat talking points, that democracy is on the 2024 ballot. Stephanopoulos thinks he’s gaslighting viewers into voting for Kamala, implying that slavery is on the ballot. When George talks about the Civil War, only Kamala doesn’t know what it was fought over. Most folks know that slavery was on the line in the Civil War. But Stephanopoulos suggests that the orderly and peaceful transfer of power might also be in question when on Jan. 6, 2021, the Capitol riots took place.
Stephanopoulos repeats Kamala’s closing talking point on his national, Sunday Morning talk show. “Whether to accept election results and the peaceful transfer of power has never been on the ballot like this. The stakes in this election are as high as it gets. The difference between the candidates are as stark as it gets, and as we emerge from the final weekend, the polls suggest the elect is a close as it gets,” Stephanopoulos told his ABC News viewers. Democrats and the fake news did the same thing in 2020, highlighting George Floyd’s death the Covid-19 global pandemic. President Joe Biden and Kamala ran in 2020 on the premise that the Covid crisis and civil rights were on the ballot. Now Stephanoulos uses the Jan. 6 riots, what he calls an insurrection, as proof of what’s at stake. Democrats and the press blame Trump for planning and organizing the Jan. 6 Capitol riots when there’s zero facts, evidence or proof that Trump was involved at all.Comparing the 2024 election to the Civil War, the message to African Americans is that Trump would put them all back into slavery or, at the very least, push a White nationalist agenda.
Back in 2020, Joe and Kamala beat the George Floyd police killing to death, implying that Trump had his knee on Floyd’s neck. Now Stephanopouls claims the 2024 election is the most significant since the Civil War. But why? Americans voters tell pollsters that Jan. 6 isn’t the most important issue on the ballot, it’s the U.S. economy. Why is George telling the American public otherwise? “Until now, no American president had ever faced a criminal indictment for retaining and concealing classified documents . . . “ Stephanopous said. Caught red handed gaslighting the public. George knows that Judge Aileen Cannon tossed out Trump’s indictment for breaching classified documents. “No American president had ever faced a federal indictment or a state indictment for trying to overturn an election, or been named an unindicted co-conspirator in two other states for the same crime. No American president has faced hundreds of millions of dollars in fines for business fraud, defamation and sexual abuse,” George told his audience.
George Stephanopopoulos should be fired on the spot for spewing Kamala campaign talking points on his national news program, misrepresenting to the public his role as credentialed broadcast journalist. Stephanopoulos has crossed the line from journalism to egregious Kamala campaign advocacy, all deceiving his national audience. Stephanopoulos doesn’t raise real questions of how the government weaponized the Department of Justice and FBI to go after Trump, all because they wanted to stop him from running for president. Stephanopoulos said nothing while reporting that Trump was a Russian agent, all because he regurgitated former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s bogus “Steele Dossier,” fabricating charges of Russian collusion against Trump. Yet George is the first to condemn Trump as a criminal, even for charges that have been thrown out. How can any ABC News viewer Trump George to deliver the unvarnished facts?
Going all in for the Kamala campaign, Stephanopoulos gives free X-Ray into campaign thinking only one day from the election. Democrats are worried sick that current trends in the polls don’t look favorable to Kamala at all. Stephanopoulos would never use aggregate polls showing that Trump is currently winning the race. He picks outlier polls hoping to give a distorted picture before Election Day. But once the election is over, voters should demand that the news media stay out of politics and just deliver the facts to the public. Stephanopoulos egregious breach of broadcast journalism ethics speak volumes about the undying loyalty to the Democrat Party, but, more importantly, how companies like Disney, use their clout to sway elections. It’s no accident that a recent Gallup study found that over 70% of voters don’t trust the mainstream press. Fake journalists like Stephanopoulos give the First Amendment a big fat black eye.
