Five weeks out from the 2022 Midterm elections, Democrat find themselves running on two major issues, one involving the June 21 Supreme Court ruling ending 1973 Roe v. Wade, guaranteeing a women’s right to abortion and the other involving the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Democrats, like they did in 2020, blame Trump for everything, including racism and white supremacy in America. Democrats succeeded in 2020 convincing enough voters that Trump was a hazard to Democracy, but, more specifically, that he caused the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis cops. How Democrats associated Trump with white supremacy and racism in America is anyone’s guess. When you add to that Democrat and the media blamed Trump for botching the Covid-19 global pandemic then you had a successful campaign against Trump in 2020.

Trump’s problems in 2020 stemmed from the universal mail-in ballots that gave Democrats about a 20% edge in voter registration, also disadvantaging Trump. But by far the reason more Democrats and independents tossed Trump under the bus stemmed from his management of the Covid-19 crisis and George Floyd racist murder. In the 2022 Midterm election, Democrats find themselves battling historic trends that the ruling party usually gets creamed in the Midterm election. But this time around, Democrats and the media urged candidates to focus on the conservative Supreme Court ending Roe v. Wade. Secondary to the abortion issue, Democrats plan to sell the country on Trump’s attempt Jan. 6 for a fascist takeover of the U.S. government, blocking certification of the Electoral College vote. Democrats and the press think that threats to democracy play well with Democrats and independents.

Jan. 6 House Committee has yet to release their final report that’s going to say that Trump planned and orchestrated the Capitol insurrection in an attempt to decertify the Electoral College vote. Whoever rioted on Jan. 6, the Select Committee, Democrats and the press refers to them as “Trump supporters,” tying the public’s mind to Trump’s Make America Great Again [MAGA] movement. Jan. 6 Select Committee accuses Trump-backers of creating fake alternative elector slates, proving they tried to commit voter fraud in 2020. Whether that’s true or not, the Jan. 6 riots are played up by the Select Committee and a threat to democracy, accusing Trump’s MAGA movement of fascism, trying to overturn a democratically legitimate election. Democrats hope to use the Jan. 6 committee to scare voters into believing that Trump and his MAGA movement are a threat to U.S. democracy.

Unlike 2020, Democrats face and uphill battle on the economy, hoping they can keep the focus on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, hoping enough voters are scared away from voting for Republican candidates. Emphasizing the Supreme Court ending Roe v. Wade keeps women in line to vote Democrat, rather than look at the economy and, most importantly, 79-year-old President Joe Biden’s reckless foreign policy. Most American voters are oblivious to how close the U.S. is to WW III, with Biden funding a proxy war against the Russian Federation. When you add to that Biden’s abysmal relations with Communist China, there’s a growing chance that the U.S. could finds itself fighting a war with China over Taiwan. Biden has pushed U.S. foreign policy into the most dangerous place in post WW II history. Never before have relations with Russia and China been so close to war.

Republicans have a difficult time using Biden’s reckless foreign policy because they agree with Democrats on their hatred of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. One thing’s for sure, Biden drove Putin and Xi onto a close personal bond economically and militarily. Both countries back each other 100%, whether it’s over the Ukraine War or freedom of navigation in the South China Sea. Xi has had enough of Biden’s public remarks on Taiwan, saying Sept. 18 that he would send U.S. troops to defend Taiwan in the event of a Communist Chinese invasion. Xi believes Biden has breached the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act signed by former President Jimmy Carter recognizing only One China and ending the 1954 Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty. Biden has provoked Communist China to the point of invading Taiwan to assert control of its sovereign territory.

When it comes to 2022 Midterms, look for Democrats and the press to divert public attention away from Biden’s disastrous economic and foreign policy. Democrats and press want to keep voter focused on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, saying voting for Republicans is like turning the country fascist. Most Democrat House and Senate candidates have emphasized support of Roe v. Wade, telling voters that voting for Republicans weakens violates women’s personal rights. Democrats and the press will do everything to dupe voter between now and the election, diverting all attention away from Biden’s abysmal foreign policy and handling of the economy. Keeping voters diverted to the Jan. 6 insurrection and end of Roe v. Wade are Democrats and the press only hopes of saving the House and U.S. Senate. Independent voters tend to vote for the economy and foreign policy, leaving Democrats in trouble.
