Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) hailed the decision by Facebook to continue its ban of 74-year-old President Donald Trump, saying that he undermines democracy by not accepting the results of the 2020 election. Klobuchar, who ran for president in 2020, polled under 5%, touted Facebook’s ruling, saying she would urge the social network company to ban Trump permanently. “He is the ultimate purveyor if misinformation, he’s a disinformation chief. He is the one that basically still will not admit that he lost the election and keeps putting out theories that literally under mine our democracy itself,” Klobuchar insisted. Trump didn’t accept the 2020 results because, for some unknown reason, he was winning on Election Night, then suddenly everything turned against him the next morning. Once trends are established in election results, they don’t change much as the vote-counting continues.
Yet in the Nov. 3 Election, Trump was leading handily before the major networks went off the air, waking up the next morning with Biden and Harris in the lead for good. Klobuchar rips Trump for claiming election fraud without any proof. Yet if any proof of election fraud is presented, including current efforts by Arizona Republicans to recount the Nov. 3 vote, Klobuchar claims, as other Democrats, election fraud by the independent counting group. “It’s not like he he’s changed his tune in terms of undermining democracy,” Klobuchar said. Klobuchar breaks new ground in hypocrisy having served as Chair of the Senate subcommittee on Antitrust, once ranting about the monopoly power of Big Tech. Klobuchar swelled with elation when Google, Twitter and Facebook banned Trump from their platforms after the Jan. 5 Capitol riot and mob scene they all blamed on Trump.
When it comes to Trump’s First Amendment or civil right using social networking platforms to communicate to his backers, Klobuchar sees no problem allowing the Bog Tech monopolies ban Trump from their platforms. All three platforms agreed with Democrats that Trump was to blame for the Jan. 5 Capitol riot and mob scene, something House Democrats called an “insurrection.” Klobuchar was all in on Trump’s impeachment launched by Trump enemy 80-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Klobuchar wholeheartedly backed nine House Impeachment managers that charged Trump with “incitement of insurrection” for a speech he gave Jan. 5 at the Ellipse, insisting he incited a riot. FBI investigators recently found that the right wing rabble-rousers planned the riot for months, having nothing to do with Trump Jan. 5 speech or anything that he tweeted.
Klobuchar’s all in favor of Trump social network ban showing she believes in monopolies as long as they advance her political agenda. Banning Trump from politics was always the intent of the House impeachment and Senate trial. What nine House impeachment manager couldn’t accomplish it, social networking companies mobbed Trump, robbing him of his voice. Klobuchar has no problem with monopolies as long as they help Democrats dominate Washington’s current political scene. One-party rule, or rule by oligarchy, suits Amy just fine as long as Democrat are in charge. “When you have monopolies, they have less of an incentive to develop the bells and whistles to protect people’s privacy, and to do something about misinformation due to public pressure . . “ said Klobushar Democrats now have a monopoly on Washington’s press and in all major social networks.
No, Amy has not problem it its Democrat rule by oligarchy, dominating the message to the public. No one has demonized Trump and Republicans more than today’s press and social networks, reports only negative information about conservatives. Klobuchar has no problem with monopolies as long as Democrats control them. Where’s the competition in Washington when Democrats and the press control the message to the American public, just like they did in the 2020 campaign? Democrats blamed Trump for the Covid-19 pandemic, recession and racism in America. Klobuchar has no problem with that message coming from Washington’s Democrats and press, whether it’s pure disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, spin or any twisted message in the press or in social networks. Klobuchar knows that Trump didn’t cause the riot, pandemic, recession or racism.
Klobuchar’s a self-declared expert on monopolies, except when it comes to the Democrat Party or the Washington press. Banning Trump from all Big Tech’s monopolies makes perfect sense to Klobuchar because he doesn’t agree that the outcome of the Nov. 3, 2020 election was legitimate. When it came to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton refusing to concede or claiming for four years that Trump used the Kremlin to win the presidential election, that wasn’t propaganda or disinformation to Klobuchar, agreeing 100% that Trump conspired with Russia. Even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller delivered his final report clearing Trump of Russian collusion March 23, 2019, Klobuchar agreed with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) that he had concrete proof that Trump was Russian Asset. To Klobuchar, that’s not propaganda or disinformation.
