Since taking over as White House Press Secretary Jan. 20 from 32-year-old Kaleigh McEnany, 42-year-old Jenn Psaki has been preaching the choir, a like-minded echo chamber of liberal journalists. Speaking of her first press conference, Psaki spoke in a collegial manner about “the role of a free and independent press in our democracy,” talking utter nonsense. When Psaki talks to the Washington press corps, they’re all liberals believing the president advancing a like-minded agenda. When 74-year-old former President Donald Trump was in office, it was open warfare against McEnany, who was hammered by the press not to get out facts but to advance a political agenda to discredit Trump and get him out of office. No one in the White House press corps pretended any objectivity, doing everything to defeat Trump Nov. 8, 2020. No, Psaki talks of an independent and free press.

Trump’s former press secretaries Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee and Kaleigh were hammered by the Washington Press corps, no fidelity to the Constitution or the role of an independent press but to get 78-year-old President Joe Biden elected. Psaki knows that she’s getting no push back because the angry press put their reputation on the line to remove Trump from office. There was nothing independent or professional about the press, whose anti-Trump bias was studied carefully by Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government’s Shorenstein’s Center. They found that the fair, free and independent press was about 97% negative reporting about Trump. No one in the Washington press corps even pretended any neutrality when it came to Trump. When he took office Jan. 20, 2017, the Washington press was all in on former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s rubbish from her campaign opposition research.

From Day 1 of Trump’s term, the press branded Trump a Russian asset, possibly a Russian agent, going after Trump knowing that the narrative was beyond fake, a calculated attempt to get Trump impeached. Psaki reflects on how the Press Secretary job could get tough, facing difficult questions. “That has certainly been my perspective throughout my career, and my goal was to return to accuracy and transparency from the podium,” Psaki said, continuing the cover-up of the malicious attack by the press on objective, responsible and ethical journalism. To Psaki, ethical journalism isn’t fidelity to the truth, as was seen by four years of false accusations against Trump, but fidelity to her political agenda to rid Trump from office. “But also [to acknowledge that] there would be moments of disagreement, and that was part of democracy right?” asked Psaki rhetorically to her enablers in the press.

Psaki won’t field any questions of substance by a press corps that’s infiltrated with Democrat operatives, looking only to make Biden look heroic in foreign and domestic policy. Not one journalist in the White House press corps questioned Biden’s attacks on 68-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin’s seen as Darth Vader, head of the Evil Empire in Star Wars. Biden wanted to contrast himself with Trump, whom the press accused of colluding with the Kremlin. Yet if Psaki had any intellectual integrity, she’s recognize that Biden and his 58-year-old Secretary of State Tony Blinken have already made a mess of U.S. foreign policy. White House pool reporters won’t be able to ask Psaki any tough questions because they’re all on the same page of promoting Biden’s utopian vision of undoing everything that Trump accomplished in his four years in office.

Psaki told the press corps that “facts sheets are back. We love facts sheets here. Making policy hip again is our goal,” as long as they mirror the Biden agenda, even when it’s bad for the country. Psaki talks a bout Democrat talking points, not fact sheets, because the facts aren’t looked up, they’re made up. Where were the facts when the Washington press corps echoed Democrat talking points that Trump was a Russian agent? “It’s great to have a return to briefings and a useful exchange for reporters to get their questions answered,” said Associated Press White House reporter Zeke Miller. Miller wanted answers that matched his biased reporting against Trump, not wanting any push back for the fake narrative that did everything possible to discredit Trump. White House press reporters have exactly what they want spewing Democrat talking points, watching Psaki applaud their insights.

Unlike her GOP predecessors, Psaki has her echo chamber with an uncritical press, only interested in advancing Democrat talking points, not a real give-and-take. White House reporters won’t question Biden family contacts with China or the latest pivot on Saudi Arabia, marking an end to the war with Yemen, largely an Iranian proxy war. Biden and Blinken want a return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA] even if it means stabbing U.S. ally Saudi Arabia in the back. Biden sets the tone with the press saying, “c’mon man,” anytime Biden or Psaki face a difficult question. At some point, someone’s going to ask Psaki tough questions, when it becomes obvious she’s parroting back Democrat talking points. When Psaki talks about “accuracy and transparency,” she refers to making statements that advance the Biden agenda, not get out the facts to the public.
