LOS ANGELES.–Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, 74, considered 72-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin’s right hand man, met with former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson for a wide-ranging interview about the Ukraine War. Tucker interviewed Putin in February, discussing the Ukraine War but, more importantly, what could be done to end the conflict. Putin clarified in that first interview that he has no intent or interest in seizing more European territory, including any of the previous Soviet Satellites in the Baltic States or Poland. Yet President Joe Biden, 82, his national security team 63-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken and 47-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, have spread rumors that Ukraine War prevents Putin from seizing more European territory. Tucker’s first interview dispelled all the White House propaganda to justify the Ukraine War.
Now Carlson gets his follow up with Lavrov who speaks directly for Putin and the Kremlin, talking about a dangerous escalation to the Ukraine War with Biden approving Ukraine’s used of ATACMs, long-range missiles used to strike deep inside the Russian Federation. Putin and Lavrov are well-aware that Trump’s presidency is only six weeks away so a major change in U.S. foreign policy, but more importantly, U.S.-Russian relations is on its way shortly. Trump bucks the Democrat and fake news establishment that promote the Ukraine War, spreading more lies about Russian intent. Biden ordered Sullivan to squeeze every penny out of Congressional allocations for the Ukraine before he leaves office Jan. 20, 2025, claiming that it will give Ukraine a better bargaining position in any future peace talks. Biden knows that Trump will end the war in short order.
Lavrov told Carlson that the Russia government is well-aware that the use of American weapons and personnel to hit targets deep inside Russia is a dangerous escalation. Biden, Blinken and Sullivan counter that bringing some 10,000 North Korean troops to help push Ukrainian troops out of Russia is a dangerous escalation. But Putin signed a mutual defense treaty with North Korea, giving him the right to use whatever resources it can get from his allies. U.S. and NATO have been at liberty to send troops to defend Ukraine but they chose not to, for whatever reason. Biden originally said he would not send U.S. or NATO troops to Ukraine to avoid starting WW III. Yet the Ukraine War evolved to the point that Biden gives Ukraine’s 46-year-old President Voldymyr Zelensky the OK to use long-rage U.S. weapons to hit targets deep inside the Russian Federation.
Lavrov wanted Carlson to know that the Kremlin sees the U.S. as directly involved in the conflict supplying Ukraine with more lethal weapons to attack the Russian Federation. Biden pretended from the beginning Feb. 24, 2022 that the U.S. only sought to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty from a Russian invasion. But Biden’s arming Ukraine in the months-and-years before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion is precisely what caused Putin to move some 200,000 Russian troops into Ukraine for what he called a “special military operation” to demilitarize Ukraine. “It is obvious that the Ukrainians would not be able to do what they’re doing with long-range modern weapons without direct participation of the American servicemen. And this is dangerous, no doubt about this,” Lavrov told Carlson. But Lavrov knows that it’s just a matter of weeks everything changes.
Carlson heard all about Russia’s new hypersonic missile, the Oreshink, capable of eluding any air defenses, but, more importantly, carrying conventional or nuclear payloads, hitting anywhere in Europe. Putin and Lavrov want the U.S. and NATO allies to know that they can’t bully Russia with U.S. and NATO long-range weapons, allowing Zelensky to attack deep inside the Russian Federation. “The message which we wanted to send by testing in real action this hypersonic system is that we will be ready to do anything to defend our legitimate interests,” said Lavrov, warning the U.S. and its allies that it could be hit at anytime by Russia’s new hypersonic missiles. Carlson wants to hear Lavrov out but also wants him to know that U.S. foreign policy and national security is about to change dramatically in a little over a month, asking for patience.
Lavrov wanted to send a strong message from Putin about the U.S. and NATO approach to the Ukraine War. Russia obviously doesn’t like letting Zelensky fire missiles into Russian territory, warning the U.S. and NATO about pushing things too far. But Putin and Lavrov know that things are about to change in a big way when Trump takes office. Lavrov called Trump “a very strong person, a person who wants results, who doesn’t like procrastination on anything,” hinting that things will change when he takes office. When it comes to Zelensky, he’s been pampered by Biden for the last three years, living in a utter fantasy about getting his lost sovereign land back from Russia. Zelensky refuses to tell the Ukrainian people the truth about the war on his nightly video messages. Zelensky fears if the truth comes out, he’ll be chased out Kiev by an angry mob.
