LOS ANGELES.–Democrat nominee 60-year-old Kamala Harris strategist James Carville gropes to find anything positive in the waning days of the campaign, claiming recent Washington Post cancellations were good news for Kamala. When Washington Post owner billionaire Jeff Bezos, 60, decided to withhold a presidential endorsement, Democrat editors and writers went wild, blaming the Post for sabotaging Kamala’s campaign. Reports of the WP losing some 200,000 subscribers because of Bezos’s Oct. 25 decision to not endorse Kamala in 2004. Bezos’s decision to not endorse any nominee was preceded by the Los Angeles Times who said the same thing Oct. 23 when its executive editor Mariel Garza resigned from the paper. Garza’s decision to quit was exactly why owner Dr. Patrick Soon Shiong said there would be no endorsement in 2024 or in the future.
Bezos and Soon Shiong realized after letting their papers run wild with liberal news and editorial writing, it had to finally stop in 2024. Both owners have watched subscribership dwindle all because the papers take a left leaning editorial bent. Bezos was forceful in defending his position to try to return the venerable publication back to its glory days of nonpartisan reporting. It’s been years since the Washington Post and Los Angeles Time expressed political neutrality or objectivity. Both papers over the years have allowed liberal reporters and editorial writers to show extreme Democrat bias, especially in 2024, conspicuously backing Kamala Harris. Bezos wanted to make a statement that as long as he owns the paper there’s going to be some attempt at journalistic integrity. Bezos knows that the days of objective reporting with political bias are long gone.
Bezos and Soon Shiogn realize they have allowed rank-and-file editors and writers to write articles with extreme prejudice toward Republicans with only one purrpose to prevail in a Democrat political agenda. Consequences to allowing newspapers to be taken over by Democrats has had a devesting effect on ad revenues by reducing readership. While editors and writers rant-and-rave about Bezos and Soon Shiong’s decision not to endorse, they realize if they have to purge the ranks of politically biased journalists then it’s well worth the price. Where Carville concludes that it’s a good sign for Kamala Harris is preposterous. Kamala’s campaign has been losing steam for weeks with voter growing fed up with her defensiveness in interviews wanting to make her campaign about slamming Trump not explaining to voters her positions on key campaign issues.
Democrat zealots used to getting heavy does of biased reporting cancelled Washington Post and Los Angeles Times subscriptions. Both papers are almost as Democrat biased as the New York Times where the paper works in lockstep with the Democratic National Committee. New York Times has nothing good to say about Trump, with a recent report showing that 85% of reporting is negative about Trump. That figure is more likely well-above 90%, when you stop to think what liberal publicationss or broadcast outlets says anything good about Trump? How many years did the New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times write spurious stories about Trump’s alleged ties to the Kremlin. Even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller cleared Trump of any wrong doing March 7, 2019, the fake news continued to writes stories about Trump’s ties to Russia.
When are nation’s most prestigious publicans or broadcast stations supposed to admit that the industry created to demonize Trump have all be done with malice. Trump has been denigrated for so long in the liberal press that voters are truly brainwashed to believe such rubbish. No retractions, not apologies and no excuses from the fake news about tying Trump to the Kremlin. Kamala continues to repeat the same lies about Trump, that he panders to dictators for whatever reason. Biden and Harris have all but wrecked U.S. diplomatic relations with the Kremlin and Communist China. No other president in U.S. history ended decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control with the Russian Federation. Biden and Harris turned a strategic partner under Trump into a mortal enemy, now at war with the Kremlin. How’s that supposed to change with Kamala committed to the Ukraine War?
Kamala has been clear about one issue in the 2024 campaign that she would continue the Ukraine War into the indefinite future, something unpopular with Rebublicans but most Democrats not paying attention to war-and-peace issues. Nothing is more important in the 2024 campaign than ending foreign wars now threatening to engulf the world in WW III. Nothing is more dangerous to world peace that the U.S. battling the Kremlin, refusing to move the conflict to the peace table where both parties can has out a settlement. When Carville talks about cancellations at the WP or LA Times, it has nothing to do with Kamala’s slide in the polls. Even former President George W. Bush chief strategist Karl Rove, no fan of Trump, said today that Trump is poised to win the 2024 election. Rove and other strategists see all the mistakes Kamala has made, now too late to reverse.
