LOS ANGELES.–Slamming 53-year-old Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk because he endorsed 78-year-old President Donald Trump, the Kamala campaign and fake news are on the warpath, accusing the mega-billionaire entrepreneur of propaganda and disinformation. Imagine that, the fake news accusing Musk of propaganda and disinformation, because they control the airwaves and back the Kamala campaign for president. So, whatever the fake news says about Musk, it’s because they think he’s taking voters from Kamala with his 200M followers worldwide. “Musk has huge following on X and he treats the platform like his own misinformation megaphone,” said Imran Ahmed, chief executive of the watchdog Center for Countering Digital Hate [CCDH]. Nonprofits like CCDH think they’re the last word on Free Speech and factual reporting, when, in fact, they have a political agenda.
Ahmed said that the Musk says Democrats seek to use illegal immigrants to vote in the U.S. election, a preposterous idea, whether it happens or not. No one really knows whether every U.S. voter in the 2020 or 2024 election are legitimate U.S. citizens. But what’s known for sure is at Ahmed wants to discredit Musk because he supports the Kamala campaign, knowing that Musk threw his support to Trump. “No one is even trying to assassinate” President Joe Biden and the Democrat nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, Musk wrote on X that was promptly deleted. Well, unlike the politically correct crowd, Musk commented on why the assassination attempts are all aimed at Trump. Maybe the Kamala campaign’s demonization of Trump destroying the Constitution and democracy was enough to drive some unbalanced kook to commit a violent act.
According to Ahmed, false or misleading claims on X by Mush have amassed 1.2 billion views, CCDH reported last month. Its fact-checkers reported 50 posts with claims debunked by independent fact-checkers. Well, no where does Ahmed identify the thousands of fake news stories in the mainstream press that routinely trash Musk or others’ reputations because they happen to favor Trump over Kamala. Self-anointed fact checkers are the most common way CNN or other fake news organizations discredit statements that disagree with a Democrat political agenda. Kamala’s campaign has many endorsements but nothing like Elon Musk. Because Musk spends his time actually creating technology for the benefit of the planet, he has a lot of followers watching his every move or statements. Endorsing Trump July 13, Musk has been targeted by the fake news.
Ahmed’s CCDH should spend its time fact checking the mainstream press that disseminates and endless flow of disinformation and propaganda, all backing Democrat causes. Fact-checkers just accept the mainstream press without scrutiny when they’re known to spread the most wild propaganda imaginable. Can you think of anything more crazy from the mainstream press than the Russian hoax? Since Trump first ran for president in 2016, the mainstream press has been fabricating stories about Trump alleged ties with the Kremlin. CCDH never said a word about the mainstream press wild, unfounded and scurrilous accusations of Trump’s ties to the Kremlin all spawned in 2016 by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fake opposition research AKA “the Dossier.” Hillary’s debunked dossier was actually used by the Department of Justice and FBI to investigate Trump for Russian collusion, leading to the 22-month, $40 million Mueller investigation.
CCDH said nothing when Special Counsel Robert Mueller released in final report March 23, 2019, stating for the record there were no ties with Trump and the Kremlin. Yet Democrats and the mainstream press continued to make false accusations to this day about Trump’s alleged ties to the Kremlin. Kamala Harris said at the Sept. 10 ABC News debate that Trump liked dictators like Putin, implying Trump had inappropriate ties to Russia. Kamala rips Trump for seeking peace in Ukraine, calling Putin a ruthless dictator. With an attitude like that, how’s the U.S. supposed to get back to normal diplomacy, détente and arms control with the Russian Federation? Kamala justifies he war mongering by demonizing Russia, saying Putin seeks to take over the European Continent. With that attitude, it’s no wonder that Musk throws his support behind Trump.
Fake nonprofits like Ahmed’s CCDH use the platform to discredit conservatives and Republicans, not use their time more wisely. With all the fake news circulating in the mainstream press, CCDH should be kept busy debunking fake stories in the mainstream press, including recent ones that Musk tries to control the 2024 presidential election. If Musk endorsed Kamala, do you think that Ahmed would be concerned about fact-checking Democrats or the mainstream, Democrat-controlled press? Whatever misinformation or disinformation comes from Musk’s X platform, it pales into insignificance compared to the mainstream press that makes outrageous, factually incorrect, politically driven statements daily to advance a Democrat agenda, including electing Kamala. Musk’s X platform does more for Free Speech than any Internet site in existence.
