In case there was any doubt, the U.S. committed $20 billion to Israeli security despite the nationwide pro-Palestine protests that demand that the U.S. government stop supplying Israel with weapons. But for those that don’t get the U.S. relationship with Israel, it the No. 1 partner in the war against terror, collaborating on every level to stop another Sept. 11 or Oct. 7 as the Israelis see it. Pro-Palestine protestors appearing more months on college campuses were part of the Occupy Movement or, put another way, paid anarchists by leftist groups designed to influence U.S. foreign policy. Most students on college campuses don’t understand the political issues, especially when billionaires like George Soros allow his designated non-profit groups, like Drummond Pike’s San Francisco-based Tides Foundation, to fund demonstrations and pay for Palestinian merchandise around the country.
President Joe Biden, 81, tries to play both sides against the middle, complaining, on the one hand, about the Israeli war in Gaza, while, on the other hand, giving Israel everything it needs to battle Islamic terrorism into the indefinite future. Progressives like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), the only Palestinian in Congress, thought that spewing anti-Semitic bile would score her points with pro-Palestine groups. Tlaib and her progressive Squad, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), found out what the real power in Washington supports. Israel, as a pro-U.S. technological state, defends U.S. national security, sharing vital intel on terrorist movements in the Middle East. That’s why Biden ordered the U.S. Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group to replace the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower to defend Israel from Iranian threats.
Sending Israel 50 F-15 fighter jets, Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles or AMRAAMs, 210 mm tank ammunition and high explosive mortars and tactical vehicles, shows the degree of U.S. commitment to Israel. All the protesting for months on college campuses had zero effect on the U.S. government lending support to Israel. With pro-Palestinie protesters seeking a ceasefire in Gaza, the latest Pentagon commitment to Israel shows that U.S. foreign policy doesn’t change because the Tides Foundation funds pro-Palestinian protests. Some progressive Squad members like Rep. Cory Bush (D-Mo.), have already been defeated in recent primaries. Spending 10 months battling Hamas in Gaza, 74-year-old Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refuses to acquiesce to Hamas pressure to allow Oct. 7 mastermine, Palestine Leader Yahya Sinwar, to stay in power.
Netanyahu has made clear that while Israel wants all its hostages returned, he’s not going leave a butcher like Siwar in power in Gaza. Mediators from Egypt, Qatar and the U.S. all want a ceasefire but they’ve been reluctant to level with Hamas about continuing to lead Gaza. No oil-rich Gulf donor state can trust Hamas with any cash, after watching past Hamas leaders stead donor cash to enrich themselves over the last 17 years of controlling Gaza. Recently assassinated Hamas leader in exile Ismail Haniyeh was worth $4 billion at his death. U.S. officials know that Haniyeh looted the Gaza Strip for his own wealth. Instead of laying down conditions for Hamas, the U.S., Egypt and Qatar play right along, acting like Sinwar can continue to lead Gaza. Sinwar and his lieutenants must be told that he can no longer lead the Gaza Strip or anything else in Palestinine.
When Democrats convene for the DNC Convention in Chicago Aug. 19, they’ll have the Tides Foundation pro-Palestine protesters out in full force. Expect anti-Israel protests to go on unabated, just as the U.S. government announces $20 billion in new military aid. Whether or not local Chicago police can handle the large crowds, the DNC convention will be flooded with anti-Israel protesters. Independent voters will get a good look at the true nature of the Democrat Party, pushing its radical Black and LGBTQ-plus community. Nominating Kamala, Democrats will do everything they can to distance themselves from the Biden presidency, when, in fact, Kamala has been part to the White House team for four years. Kamala’s going to have a hard time distinguishing herself from Biden, leaving independents voters to ask what’s going to be any different from Joe.
With the clock ticking on the DNC convention, Harris will be forced to clarify her issues on every conceivable subject on the 2024 ballot, including the border, Ukraine War, Gaza War, relations with Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. At any minute the White House could be confronted with more attacks on Israel by Iran, the Mideast’s chief sponsor of terrorism. Gaza’s Hamas terrorists, Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels are all group backed by Iran creating havoc in the Middle East and Horn of Africa. Kamala can’t continue to duck the media but will be forced to answer question even though she has the U.S. press backing her campaign. Trump finds himself running against the U.S. press that’s let its preferences for Harris out in the open. Trump battles Democrats and the press as he tries to get back to the White House Nov. 5.
