LOS ANGELES.–Saying that 78-year-old President Donald Trump is “sh—–g in his pants” because he afraid to debate a women in 59-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris, 80-year-old former Bill Clinon strategists James Carville hurled insults at Trump. “Trump is supposed to debate on ABC on Sept. 10, and of course, he’s scared” Carville said. “Na-na-na-na-na. Trump is scared to debate a girl. So, not the way want to do Fox. He wants this. Of course, he is s—ing and fart in his pants, and the whole thing is deteriorating, going to nothing,” Carville said, angry that Trump cancelled the Sept. 10 ABC debate agreed to with Biden. “I’ll see her on Sept. 4 or I won’t see her at all,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform. Trump is tired of letting Democrats call the shots, just like when he acquiesced to the June 27 CNN debate that actually knocked 81-year-old President Joe Biden out of the race.

Vice President Kamala Harris can’t have it her way, debating Trump only on ABC News, where its anti-Trump views are known to all. Like CNN, ABC is one of the more virulent anti-Trump legacy networks, together with CBS or NBC News, both equally toxic to Trump. Trump’s a daily foe on cable new MSNBC, where the station is built on anti-Trump programming. Carville knows that Fox News isn’t 100% pro-Trump at all with hosts like Neil Cavuto doing anything to discredit the former president. But Carville and Kamala Harris want to say Trump chickened out on the Sept. 10 ABC News debate. “It’s interesting how anytime, any place becomes one specific time, one specific safe place. I’ll be there Sept. 10, like he agreed to. I hope to see him there,” Harris Tweeted on X. Why does Harris think she can call the shots on where and how to debate?

Carville wants to use the expected ABC News debate to slam Trump for backing out. But why should Trump, who agreed to debate Biden, agree to anything, especially knowing how biased ABC News is against him. Carville said sarcastically that the debate should take place Sept. 18, the day Trump is due to be sentenced for his May 30 conviction in Manhattan court on 34 felonies. “I think the debate should take place on a night of Sept. 18 in New York City and I think we should be gracious to former President. He’s old, and he’s kind of losing it, but I happen to know he’s going to be Manhattan on Sept. 18,” Carville said. If that doesn’t show how nasty Democrats can be than what does? Carville, Democrats and the press salivate on the prospects of Trump going to jail before the 2024 presidential election. Nothing would make Democrats and press happier than to see Trump in jail.

Harris has no right to hold Trump to any commitment he made with Biden. If Trump chooses to not attend the Sept. 10 ABC News debate, it’s entirely Trump’s choice. Just like Harris saying if Trump doesn’t show up she’ll use the time with George Stephanopoulos, David Muir or anyone else to advance her campaign. Harris finds herself embroiled in a controversy to pick a running mate that doesn’t offend the Muslim community. Kamala leaned toward picking Penn. Gov. Josh Harris who happens to be Jewish like her husband, Second Gentleman entertainment attorney Doug Emhoff. Harris looks poised to pick 60-year-old Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. If that happens, Kamala will have a lot of explaining to do to the Jewish community. But when it comes to where Trump chooses to debate, if at all, it’s entirely his call because the original agreement was with Biden.

Trump thoroughly embarrassed Biden in his June 27 CNN debate, showing for all to see, including the Democrat Party, that Joe was not fit for president let alone running for a second term. It took Joe about a month to capitulate to his Party’s calls for him to drop out, handing the nomination to Kamala. Kamala said the day before Joe dropped out that there was nothing wrong with Joe’s cognitive functioning, vouching for his competence. How much more disingenuous is Kamala now calling to Trump to debate her on ABC News. You’d think she would be happy to debate Trump anywhere, including Fox News, where, if nothing else, the question won’t be pre-loaded against Trump. Judging by the way things are going, it’s doubtful Trump is going to subject himself to another biased debate with host designing questions specifically to trip him up.

As former Bill Clinton strategist David Axelrod said, Democrat need to stop high-fiving over Kamala and realize the 2024 outcome is anything but guaranteed. Even with the DNC Convention approaching Aug. 19, the public will still want to know Kamala’s positions on the economy, the Ukraine War, the border crisis, relations with Russia, Iran and North Korea, all presenting possible hot spots in the future. Kamala’s handlers say she should control the narrative by running against Trump’s character, not any particular issues that concern voters. Whoever hosts the debate, surely Kamala knows that she’ll have to answer questions posed by hosts whether on Fox or ABC News. Kamala wants to talk about women’s rights and Roe v. Wade but the public wants to know how she’ll lower rent, housing and prices of basic necessities like food and energy.
