LOS ANGELES.–Calling 81-year-old President Joe Biden’s comments to 63-year-old ABC News George Stephanopoulos “incoherent,” 46-year-old liberal pollster Nate Silver called on Biden to end his 2024 bid for a second term. Silver said his interview with Stephanopoulos did nothing to reassure anyone about his abysmal debate performance June 27 with 78-year-old former President Donald Trump. Biden couldn’t put sentences together without mumbling, fumbling and jumbling his words, attempting to respond to debate questions. Debate watchers were all shocked watching Biden try to speak but got lost in his memorized talking points, unable to sound coherent. Silver had enough with all the defiance coming from Biden recently on the campaign trail saying that Only “God Almighty” could remove him from the campaign. Silver wants Biden to go with dignity but withdraw from the 2024 campaign.
Coming from ABC’s liberal Silver, it’s a shock knowing that he’s been part of the Biden cover-up of the last four years, where Democrats and the press shielded Biden from having to show his true self to the public, one with memory and cognitive impairments. When Special Counsel Robert Hur released his March 12 report, saying he could not prosecute Biden for mishandling classified documents, he said that he couldn’t get a jury to convict Biden because of his failed memory. Biden couldn’t tell Hur when he was Vice President or when his son Beau died. First Lady Jill Biden and sister Valerie Owens have been shielding Joe from the media since his 2020 campaign. Trump actually said many times in the 2020 campaign that Biden was senile, prompting a fierce cover-up by Biden’s handlers working in cahoots with the mainstream media.
Since the June 27 CNN debate, the world saw the extent of Biden’s disability, unable to speak coherently even when prompted to do so by CNN’s Democrat-leaning debate moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. They tried their best to rescue Joe but he kept digging himself into a deeper hole, making no sense in front of a national TV audience. Trump looked at Joe with disbelief, recalling the last time they debated. This time around, things were very different, Joe couldn’t memorize his lines anymore, only get his wires crossed when he fumbled his way through the 90-minute debate. “Are you the same man today that you were when you took office three-and-a-half years go?” Stephanopoulos asked. “In terms of successes, yes,” Biden said, knowing he had no track record when he took office Jan. 20, 2021. Biden thinks he’s fixed the Middle East and U.S. economy.
Stephanpoulos was astonished by Biden’s stunning lack of self-awareness over the way he came across in the CNN debate. “Do you dispute that there have been more lapses, especially in the several months,” George asked Biden. “Can I run the 100 in 10 flat? No. But I’m in good shape,” Biden said, ignoring the question about lapses or gaffes frequently seen in Biden speeches. “Are you more frail?” asked Stephanopoulos. “No,” Biden told George. Silver was astonished at how little the Stephanopoulos interview did to change any perceptions of Biden from his disastrous June 27 debate performance. Several of Biden’s apologists said he did better in the second half of the debate but, on closer review, Joe couldn’t answer any questions coherently, often mixing up his facts. “Do you have the mental and physical capacity to do it for another four years,” asked Stephanopoulos. “I believe so,” Biden said.
Biden kept answering George’s questions concretely, saying nothing to reassure anyone that he was any different than when he debated Trump. Biden said he had a bad night because of a cold but Nate Silver watched Joe sound more incoherent. “I wouldn’t be runnin’ if I didn’t think I did,” Joe said. “I’m runnin’ again because I think I understand best what has to be done to take this nation to completely new level. We’re on our way. We’re on our way. And look, the decision recently made by the Supreme Court on immunity, you know, the next President of the United States, It’s not just about where he or she knows what they’re doin’,” Biden said continuing, as Silver sees it, to make no sense. Biden wants voters to jump on the bandwagon knowing he drove inflation in the economy to 40-year highs and started a war with the Kremlin that shows no signs of letting up.
Prominent Democrats on Capitol Hill are now working behind the scenes to let Joe know there’s no confidence in him running for president again. With the clock ticking, decisions must be made before the Aub. 19-22 Democrat National Convention in Chicago. Silver saw in Biden’s interview with Stephanopoulos an astonishing low level of self-awarness, not knowing how any of his answers made any sense. “If you can be convinced that you cannot defeat Donald Trump, will you stand down,” George asked Biden. “It depends on—on if the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me that, I might do that,” Biden said, talking tough but knowing his days are numbered. With CNN’s liberal Obama White House pundit Van Jones saying it’s not a matter of whether but when, Biden’s days are numbered no matter how defiant he seems. Stephanopoulos didn’t help Joe.
