President Joe Biden, 81, continues to hemmorhage in swing-state polls to former President Donald Trump, proving to GOP skeptics that Trump could very well beat Biden in a 2024 head-to-head machup. Biden thinks he matches up well againt Trump, compared to other GOP candidates, when, in fact, he loses ground with Democrats, Republicans and independents giving him low marks on the economy and foreign policy. Voters don’t like the fact that it’s more difficult than ever to buy big ticket items with cars and real estate more costly to finanice s in the last 20 years. Biden keeps touting the economy, saying he added 13 million jobs since taking office. Well if you consider the snapback from Covi-19 government shutdowns, why, yes, the economy has added jobs but not for the reaons given by Biden, of a thriving economic due to his economic policy.

Biden was hit with a big decision one year into his term when Russian President Vladimir Puttin invaded Ukraine. Biden ignored Putin’s requests for months before the Russian leader invaded Ukraine. Putin aked Biden to renegotiate security arrangements for Ukraine for months but Biden ignored Putin’s requests. When Putin invaded Ukraine Feb. 24, 2022, he called it a “special military operation,” an attempt to neutralize Biden arming Ukarine. Within the first month of the war, Putin offiered to end the operation if Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Voldymyr Zelensky agreed to Russian sovereignty over Crimea and the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk. Zelensky told Putin he would fight to the last drop of blood, starting the conflict that’s now 21 months old, losing Ukraine some 20% of its soverugn territory, nearly the entire Black Sea coast.

Zelensky’s decision to go to war against the Kremlin came with Biden agreeing to foot the bill, now costing the U.S. Treasury nearly $200 billion. Beyond the drain on the U.S. Treasury, Biden ended normal diplomatic relations with the Kremlin, putting the U.S. and Russia at war. Biden said he would continue funding the Ukraine War as long as it takes to defefat the Russian Federation. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed U.S. aims April 26, 2022, saying he would degrade the Russian military to the point it could no longer wage war. If that’s not a declaration of war, then what is? Biden has told Congress he plans to fund the proxy war as long as it takes to drive Russia out of Ukraine. Biden and Zelensky know that they’re no degrading
the Russian military, not different than degrading Ukraine’s military. Biden has been told there’s no military solution.

Biden’s approval numbers continue to unravel because hard-working Americans want a future with peace and and a prosperous economy. Biden refuses to admit the Ukraine War fueled the worst inflation in 40 years with his Russian oil embargo. Biden threatened Putin with crippling economic sanctions if he invaded Ukraine. So, what does Biden do, he boycotts Russian oil, casuing worldwide shortages and spiraling oil prices. If Biden ended the proxy war, oil prices would drop well below $50 a barrel, cutting today’s inflated pump prices in half. With more oil in circulation, the inflation—and high interest rates—would come come down quickly, fueling a new economic boom. But, no, Biden must continue his proxy war wit the Kremlin, destroying decades of diplomacy, detemte and arms control, needed to preserve world peace and economic growth.

Biden’s polls in battleground states continue to drop because the public sees his poor mangement of the economy. Biden’s approval ratings for the economy are at 36%, lover than his 40% general approval rating. Biden’s strategists think he’ll be able to pull off another victory against Trump because of so much public oppostion. But recent polls show Trump beating Biden in battleground states, necessary for an Electoral Colleg e victory. Without the Covid-19 global panemdic and George Floyd race riots, it’s a whole new ballgame in 2024. Biden has to run away from this record because he can’t tout all the good news about the economy and foreign policy. Voters will ask themselves, parapharsing President Ronald Reagan, whether they’re better off than they were four years ago. Most voters knew the U.S. economy and world peace were better in 2020.

Biden’s strategists don’t know that ordinary Americans want economic propserity and peace, not the kind of chaos seen today u nder Biden’s watch. Prospects of Vice President Kamala Harris becoming president if Biden doesn’t complete his second terms frightens voters. Harris inspires no confidence, despite her apparent exaggreated perception of hirshelf. When it comes to the Ukraine War, the public no longer believes that giving cash-and-arms to Kiev is a good idea. No matter how Biden has demonized Russian President Vladimir Putin, voters know that relations with Moscow have gotten worse under Biden’s watch. When it comes to relations with China, things aren’t much better. Biden said he would commit U.S. troops to defend Taiwan, in case of a Beijing invasion. Biden infuriated Chinese President Xi Jinping vilating the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act, threatening war with Beijing.
