Former President Donald Trump, 77, has defied all the odds, steamrolling in recent polls his GOP rivals. A new Fox News poll has former President Donald Trump up at 60%, comparted to his closest rival Gov. Ron DeSantis at 13%. Democrats and the press don’t want to admit what’s behind 60% of Republicans backing Trump in the primaries when four indictments and 91 felony charges would have upended anyone else but Trump. Whether admitted to or not, Trump’s strong Republican backing stems from the belief the government has framed Trump with all his charges. How sad that a sizable majority of the U.S. population believes the government is so corrupt that they’d go after 80-year-old President Joe Biden’s like rival in 2024, persecuting Trump, not for cause, because he’s Biden’s presidential rival. Nothing else explains why Trump has watched his polls go up with his indictments.

Today’s voters watch very carefully the media and government go after Trump from the early days of his 2016 campaign. What was the FBI doing launching a counterintelligence investigation into Trump and his 2016 campaign based on former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fake opposition research? Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland and Special Counsel Jack Smith haven’t acknowledged the years of investigations of Trump, all based on Hillary’s fake probable cause. Former FBI James Comey, 62, never went to jail for using the FBI to persecute Trump politically, all because he wanted Hillary for president. Garland and Smith act like they have no explaining to do this time around, when suddenly Trump has become the enemy of the people with four indictments. What makes the public think that anything has changed at the Department of Justice and FBI?

Voters looking ahead to the GOP primaries think Trump has been framed again. Watching left-wing TV like CNN and MSNBC or reading the New York Times and Washington Post show that the same vehement prejudice exists today for Trump in the latest series of charges. How can any honest voter think that Trump violated RICO racketeering laws in the 2020 Georgia election? When it comes to Smith claiming that worthless old classified docs found in moving boxes at Mar-a-Lago, they don’t threaten U.S. national security. Yet that’s what Smith said, saying that Trump threatens national security harboring classified docs in moving boxes. No GOP voter buys Smith’s charges because they’re so farfetched. How can anyone believe that Trump planned-and-orchestrated the Jan. 6 riots when the FBI said the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers planned them for months?

When President Donald Trump faced his second impeachment on “incitement of insurrection,” House Democrats and the press insisted that Trump whipped a Jan. 6, 2021 crowd into a frenzy before attacking the Capitol. Trump told the audience to go “peacefully” and protest the 2020 presidential election results. Smith claims Trump lied to the American public about the 2020 election to whip the crowd into violence. Democrats and the press heard from the FBI that the riots were planned for months, not something caused because of a speech. Yet Democrats and the press claim that once the riots started Jan. 6, Trump could have stopped them. But how would Trump call anything off when he didn’t start the mayhem? House Select Committee Democrats and Republicans told Special Counsel Jack Smith that Trump planned-and-orchestrated the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

Trump has been raising the issue about two systems of justice in the United States, one for ordinary folks and the other for political persecution. “I mean, nobody should be happy about this. I’m not happy about it. Nobody is. It’s a very sad thing. It’s so bad for our country,” Trump said referring to the recent indictment of Hunter Biden. While Trump has given Hunter a hard time for years, he also thinks that Hunter was given a free pass in courts because he’s a Biden. “But you know, if you think about it, I’ve been under investigation form the day I came down the escalator. A phony investigation. Fake investigation. Investigations that I beat every single time. Still under investigations. But it’s a very sad thing. And it’s a slippery slope and dangerous, very dangerous for our country,” Trump said. Trump questions the Department of Justice and FBI, both he claims are corrupted.

Trump’s popularity with GOP voters stems from the fact that they see the current prosecution as a partisan witch-hunt. How sad that ordinary citizens, whether they back Trump or not, think that the government railroaded him, all due to politics. Garland and Smith have made no effort to prove that the Department of Justice and FBI have reformed their ways. Former President Barack Obama’s Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch was never questioned why she authorized the CIA under John Brennan or FBI under James Comey to open up a counterintelligence investigation on Trump when they knew the probable cause was Hillary’s fake Steele dossier. Now Garland and Smith want the public to trust their four indictments of Trump. Voters have spoken loudly that they don’t trust the government’s investigation of Trump. Voters think Trump was framed by the government.
