Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christe, 60, told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that once Trump loses the Iowan Caucuses or the New Hampshire Primary his chances of winning the GOP nomination drop like a rock. Christie appears on liberal TV slamming Trump since he flipped on his former boss because he never got a Cabinet position. Christie forgets about his Bridgegate scandal that consumed his last years in office, tossing his staff under the boss, while he escaped any criminal consequences. Back in 2013, Christie had his staff block lanes on the GW Bridge to Fort Lee New Jersey for the purpose of punishing former Mayor Marck Sokolich for not supporting Christie’s reelection. Christie’s underlings took all he heat but Trump was no in a position to offer Christie a Cabinet jot. Can you imagine what would have happened if Christei were Attorney General?

Christie covertly works with the cryptic Lincoln Project, a never-Trump group that worked with former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to defeat Trump in 2016. When that failed, the Obama’s-deep state investigated Trump for Russian collusion, approved by former President Barack Obama, led by former Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch and authorized by former CIA Director John Brenna and FBI Director James Comey. All worked feverishly to prove Hillary’s fake Steele dossier that Trump worked with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election. Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller spent 22 months, $40 million to acquit Trump March 23, 2019 of any wrongdoing with Russia. Yet Christie, anti-Trump Republicans like Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Ut.), and Democrats like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), continue to this day to accuse Trump of Russian collusion.

So, today under Biden, the U.S. is at war with the Kremlin over Ukraine, pushing the world to the brink of WW III or nuclear war. Biden himself admitted Sept. 23, 2022, after saying he would commit U.S. troops to defend Taiwan, that the U.S. is closer to Armageddon. Yet to Christie and other anti-Trump Republicans, Trump threatens the Military Industrial Complex, questioning the Pentagon. Sending depleted uranium munitions and cluster bombs to Ukraine, Biden pushes the war to the brink, refusing to listen to the many countries proposing a political settlement through peace talks. Biden has given Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky a blank check to continue battling the Kremlin no what happens to world peace. Biden has wrecked the one nuclear-armed Communist state willing to engage generations of American presidents in arms control. Now nonproliferation doesn’t exist.

Christie spends most on campaign on liberal TV talk shows slamming Trump, something sickening to many Republicans, if, for no other reason, it’s a revolting display of disloyalty. Christie hopes to collect leftover votes should Trump’s campaign fade at his legal issues mount. Whether the government can make its case against Trump is anyone’s guess. No one should be surprised to see Trump beat all four cases, largely because they all lack substance. Christie, a former U.S. attorney, has already tried-and-convicted Trump on the airwaves. But no jury has been seated and no one has been sworn in to any court. So, Trump still has a better than 50% chance of beating all the charges. Special Counsel Jack Smith must explain how the Department of Justice investigated Trump with the FBI for years and found nothing. But why did they use Hillary’s fake Steele dossier?

Smith has a real credibility problem with most voters other that the most Trump-hating Republicans and Democrats. Smith, who complains to Jamaican-born Judge Tanya Chutkin that Trump taints the jury pool with statements he makes on his Truth Social platform. What did Smith do to the jury pool when he said publicly that Trump’s classified docs found at Mar-a-Lago was a threat to U.S. national security? Surely Smith has the awareness that his statements have made Trump’a right to fair trial next to impossible. But Smith continues to act like a partisan Democrat zealot, looking to convict Trump at all costs. Trump has been denied due process with every anti-Trump elected official, politician and TV hosts and pundits already convicting him. When the evidence is presented at trial, it could be whole new ballgame where facts count, not innuendo-and-gossip.

Whatever happens in Trump’s cases, it’s not going to be decided in the anti-Trump media, only with jurors forced to hear the facts. When Smith tries to sell jurors that outdated classified documents found in moving boxes in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago basement violate the 1917 Espionage Act, how’s that going to go over? If Smith wants to make the case that old worthless classified docs were found in moving boxes, let him make his case. But jurors with any reasonableness are not going to hold it against Trump. When it comes to Fulton County DA Fani Willis telling jurors that Trump ran a racketeering group, how’s that going to go over? Christie is dreaming that jurors believe former Trump Atty. now convicted felon Michael Cohen that Trump paid hush money to Stormy Daniels. How can anyone believe Smith’s charge that Trump defrauded the government believing he won the 202 election?
