Exploiting conservatives especially on Fox News, the liberal press likes to quote figures from the GOP to bolster their media war against 77-year-old former President Donald Trump. Trump faces 34 indictments for petty bookkeeping crimes by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and more recently 37 indictments by the Department of Justice [DOJ] Special Counsel Jack Smith for violating the Espionage Act and Presidential Records Act. Both cases involve highly biased prosecutors who’ve staked their reputations on charging and prosecuting Trump for various crimes. Liberal media has no shortage of legal experts all of whom attest to Trump’s guilt, promising face jail time when both criminal cases go to trial. If you listen to liberal reporting and expert analysis, Trump has already been tried-and-convicted in Manhattan and Miami’s U.S. District Court.

Always finding Trump guilyt, the liberal press wants to erase at least seven years of fraudulent reports about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin. Trump was put through the ringer by 62-year-old former FBI Director James Comey who opened a counterintelligence investigation of Trump’ alleged ties to the Kremlin before the 2016 presidential election. Trump was accused by 67-year-old former CIA Director John Brennan of treason. Brennan was given former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham’s Steele dossier in summer 2016, then turning the fraudulent document over to Comey. Comey promptly investigated Trump;s 2016 campaign, going to the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to obtain warrants to wire tap Trump campaign officials using Hillary fake dossier as probable cause. Comey never produced any probable cause other than Hillary’s bogus dossier.

So, now the DOJ and FBI are at it against, this time claiming that Trump mistreated classified information, making him a criminal under the 1917 Espionage Act, the same body of law used to prosecute double-agents and traitors. Smith contends that Trump shared classified information with unauthorized people, despite Trump saying he declassified all his presidential records. Smith said the classified docs found by the FBI Aug. 8, 2022 at Trump’s Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago estate endangered U.S. national security, something so farfetched it defies imagination. Trump kept his presidential junk in boxes at Mar-a-Lago not sharing information with random strangers. If Smith thinks Trump endangers U.S. national security, what does he think 80-year-old President Joe Biden does by starting a proxy war with the Kremlin and threatening a war against Communist China over Taiwan.

` When it comes to Trump’s upcoming trials, how’s the former president supposed to get a fair trial when he’s been tried-and-convicted in the liberal press since charged by Bragg April 4.? Nonstop media coverage has tried-and-convicted already for Smith’s June 9 indictments How’s a jury of Trump’s peers that’s been watching TV not been exposed to the constant barrage in the liberal press, condemning Trump’s alleged crimes? “The case can be made that he’s a loser because, since he got elected in 2016, he’s compiled a strong of them,” said 80-year-old Fox News senior political analyst Britt Hume/ “Either he or his supported candidate have lost too many races,” Hume said. Hume doesn’t admit that under Trump’s direction, the GOP took over the House in the 2020 election. Hume says everything touched by Trump has failed yet for the first time since 2018 the GOP took back the House.

Whether it’s Trump’s guilt over recent indictments or results at the ballot box, the liberal press continues to go after Trump with a vengeance. “That may come back to haunt the Republican Party in 2024,” Hume said. “You look at the Democrats and what they think of the race. They think that Trump is going to win the nomination, and they think Biden will beat him because he did beat him,” Hume said Republican candidates, like 60-year-old former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, think Trump can’t win a national election, setting the GOP up for failure. Trump has a sizable continent of Republicans led by former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) agreeing with Chritie that Trump can’t win a national election. Biden presents a match-up problem for Trump because he already beat him badly in 2020. Hume is off base thinking that Trump hasn’t helped the GOP.

Democrats hold a significant registration advantage heading into 2024. If election officials repeat universal mail-in ballots, it’s going to be difficult for Republicans to compete again. Republicans rely on better voter participation, something offset by universal mail-in ballots. Democrat no longer have to wait in lines at polling places to cast their votes, simply putting them in the mail. Trump’s best chance of winning stems from a hard landing in the U.S. economy, where stagflation continues wrack the U.S. economy. Most voters ask whether they’re better off on Election Day then they were four years before. If the economy and war in Ukraine gets worse, it could turn enough independent voters against Biden. Trump’s only chance of winning is if voters can’t take a chance on an aging Biden for the next four years. Voters see Biden as generally much older and decrepit than Trump.
