President Joe Biden, 80, announced his run for a second term Tuesday, April 25, in a manufactured video message, the only way Democrat strategists can sell his candidacy for the 2024 nomination. By anyone’s metrics, Biden has left the country worse off than two-and-a-half years ago when he took over from 76-year-old President Donald Trump. It didn’t take long, about a month, for Biden to start a new foreign war, this time the unthinkable, going to war against the Kremlin. Biden’s only saving grace is that he joins the most rapid war hawks in Congress, like 67-year-old Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) who wholeheartedly backs war with Russia. None of the GOP members of the House and Senate agree with Biden’s vast borrowing-and-spending plans that have fueled the worst inflation in 40 years. Biden touts his great legislative accomplishment that have slowed down the U.S. economy.

Biden touts unprecedented jobs creation under his watch, as the economy rebounded from the Covid-19 shutdowns, automatically lifting the economy. With all the jobs that came back after the Covid-19 pandemic, the economy was eaten alive with inflation, largely triggered by Biden’s trillions of dollars in spending during a time of war. Launching a Russian oil embargo created global shortages, fueling the worst inflation since the stagflation days of former President Jimmy Carter. So when it comes to the economy, the snapback from Covid-19 gave the illusion of a Biden recovery, when, in fact, it would have happened no matter what. All the economic stimulus has only added to the inflationary cycle, leaving most middle class citizens reeling to make ends meet. More of Biden’s big spending plans would generate slow growth, inflation and recession in another term.

Biden’s pitch for four more years could not be more vague, taking credit for the post Covid-19 recovery, now completing the cycle. Form here on out, it’s only sound economic principles, including lower taxes and less government regulation that can save the economy. Biden promises more profligate spending and more red tape in another term, where the U.S. economy could spiral into recession, if not depression. “Every generation of Americans have faced a moment when they have to defend democracy, stand up for our personal freedom, stand up for our right to vote and our civil rights. And this is our moment,” Biden said in his announcement for a second term. Biden’s vague statements are a ringing endorsement of the Ukraine War, an ongoing hemorrhage to the U.S. Treasury. Biden has the support of Capitol Hill war hawks looking to pick a fight with the Russian Federation.

Let there be no mistake, with all the differences between Democrats and Republicans, they’re currently joined at the hip on Capitol Hill in their hate of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. Biden’s proxy war does nothing to preserve U.S. or European democracy but give his White House its destructive foreign war that destroys former U.S. allies and strategic partners, all because of Ukraine’s border dispute with the Kremlin. If Biden handled the conflict as a statesman, he would have seen both sides of the conflict and worked with the warring factions to end the conflict. Biden took Ukraine’s side, making up stories about Putin that he sought to take over Europe, much like Hitler did in 1939. Historic fallacies like that have cost the U.S. dearly, weakening U.S. national security, but, more importantly, pushing the world to the brink of WW III and maybe nuclear war.

None of Biden’s critics in Congress bring up the Ukraine War, the most consequential blunder in U.S. foreign policy. Going to war against the Kremlin ended 70-years of diplomacy, with generations of U.S. presidents working on cooperative relations. Kremlin officials now see the proxy war as a direct conflict between the U.S. and the Kremlin. Former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said Biden has increased the prospects of direct military confrontation with the U.S. and possible nuclear war. Yet no one in Congress takes the Ukraine War seriously. “Given the absolute chaos and disaster Biden has produced the first two and a half full years, finishing the job would be truly catastrophic,” said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.), a 2016 presidential candidate. Cruz mentions nothing about the Ukraine War because he agrees with Biden trashing U.S.-Russian relations.

No Republican or Democrat on Capitol Hill has confronted Biden on his destructive proxy war against the Russian Federation. Destroying U.S.-Russian relations has left U.S. foreign policy out on a dangerous limb. Biden’s announcement at the White House today with 63-year-old South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol of nuclear cooperation on the Korean Peninsula is bound to infuriate 39-year-old North Korean President Kim Jong-un. New York Times said today that Trump had a failed relationship with North Korea. Trump was the only U.S. president to cross the DMZ, developing a pragmatic relationship with Kim. When it comes to Biden putting the world on the verge of WW III and nuclear war in Ukraine and growing prospects of war with China, Cruz is correct about utter chaos caused by Biden. But U.S. lawmakers, including Cruz, back Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin.
