Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky talked trash about China helping Russia with military aid, claiming it would lead to another world war. Zelensky presides over a bankrupt Kiev government, relying almost exclusively on the United States to fund his government and pay for the war against the Kremlin. Zelensky has made many excuses why the world should come to Ukraine’s rescue, the latest being that without Ukraine fighting for European democracy, 70-year-old President Vladimir Putin would take over Europe. Zelensky told 80-year-old President Joe Biden, his biggest benefactor in the Ukraine War, that Putin seeks genocide on the Ukrainian people, another excuse for backing Kiev with cash-and-arms. Zelensky has zero control of what China or any other country does about backing Ukraine, throwing out more propaganda and disinformation.
Zelensky has no control of what China decides to do in backing 70year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. In case Zelensky’s missed it, China has been supplying Russia with military equipment for months, having no bearing on WW III or anything else. President Joe Biden, 80, trashed U.S. relations with China as soon as taking office. Before his left hand left the bible Jan. 20, 2021, Biden alraedy accused Beijing of genocide against Muslim Uygurs and cracking down on democracy in Hong Kong. When Biden decided to boycott the Beijing Winter Games, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Putin made a sacred pact to support each other’s nuclear-armed communist regimes. So when Zelensky says Beijing backing Moscow would cause the next world war, he’s talking through his hat. Zelensky has given every excuse under the sun for Biden to back Ukraine’s war against the Kremlin.
Just so happens, after surviving the Cold War over the last 60 years, there’s plenty to anti-communist war hawks in the U.S. Congress to exploit. Take Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), for example, leading anti-communist voice on the Senate Armed Services Committee, he joyfully backed Biden’s proxy war using Ukraian troops to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin. Graham backed Obama and Biden’s eight-year-proxy war in Syria against President Bashar al-Assad. Pouring billions into Syrian rebel Groups, Obama and Biden did everything possible to topple al-Assad’s Damascus government. When Putin joined the fight to defend al-Assad in 2015, he pulled the rug out from underneath Obama and Biden’s proxy war. Obama and Biden were giving billions to rebel groups linked to al-Qaeda and ISIS, two of the most virulent terrorist groups on the planet.
Zelensky told Germany’s Die Welt newspaper that he hoped China would stop backing Russia, join the coalition to defeat the Russian Federation. “At the moment, however, I don’t think it’s possible,” Zelensky admitted, knowing that Putin an Xi have closed ranks against the collective West led by Washington and Brussels. Zelensky says China has an opportunity to get on the right side of the conflict backing Ukraine. Can you imagine the arrogance of Zelensky dictating to China what it should do with one of its oldest Cold War allies? Zelesky doesn’t recognize the long historic relationship between Moscow and Beijing. “At the moment, I don’t things it’s possible,” Zelensky said about China backing Kiev. “If China allies itself with Russia, there will be a world war, and I do think that China is aware of that,” Zelensky said. Can you believe audacity of Zelensky’s statement?
Zelensky decided to take on the Kremlin after Putin offered in March 2022 to end the Ukraine invasion if Zelensky accepted the independence of the Peoples Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk and Russian sovereignty over Crimea. No, with U.S. funding, Zelensky decided to battle the Russian Federtion with the expressed objective of ridding every last Russian soldier from Ukraine. Ukraine had Russian troop in Donbas and Crime before the Feb. 24, 2022 war. Yet once Zelensky had unlimited U.S. cash-and-arms, he moved the goal posts deciding to get back Crimea. U.S. Undesecretary of State Victoria Nuland said that Crimea must be demilitarized, signaling the U.S. backs Zelensky’s fight to oust the Russian Federation from Crimea. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 60, said he met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li in Munich to object to Chain’s military backing of Moscow.
All the threats and warnings by Blinken and, more recently, by Vice President Kamala Harris, about China backing Russia militarily in Ukraine has backfired, pushing Beijing to back its longstanding communist ally. Zelensky has a lot of nerve prognosticating WW III based on what China does to support Russia. Blinken and Harris can threaten China all they want but, ultimately, Xi does what’s beneficial to the Peoples Republic of China [PRC]. Xi knows that Ukraine has zero national security significance to China, while Russia, on the other hand, is China’s strategic partner in business and global security. If the U.S. were to attack China over Taiwan, you can bet that Russia would stand by China. Zelensky wants more U.S. cash-and-arms for his war against the Kremlin. Biden knows that there’s a limit to how his European allies will back sanctions and possibly war against Beijing.
