Signaling that the Ukraine War has gone long enough, 72-year-old Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned about an unnamed Pentagon Report that considered a “decapitation blow” against 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. Diplomacy between the U.S. and Russia are at a post-WW II low, with 80-year-old President Joe Biden joining Ukraine’s war against the Kremlin. Putin invaded Ukraine Feb. 24 to stop the flow of arms from the U.S. and NATO, only to see Biden announce March 26 in Warsaw, Poland that Putin should no longer remain Russian president. Despite the walk back by the White House of Biden’s remarks, 69-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said April 26 in Ramstein, Germany that the aim of the U.S. military operation in Ukraine was to degrade the Russian military to the point in could no longer wage war: A declaration of war.

So, Russia’s border dispute, for whatever reason, morphed into a White House proxy war with the U.S. using Ukrainian troops to fight the Kremlin. Biden knows all about proxy wars, spending eight years and billions on a failed proxy war using Syrian rebel groups against 57-year-old Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. When Putin joined the fight to save al-Assad in 2015, Obama and Biden’s proxy war failed. So, today’s proxy war against the Kremlin takes a bold leap to try, as Austin says, to break the Russian military. Eleven months of war has broken Ukraine, destroyed the country’s infrastructure, leaving much of Kiev’s territory a rock pile. Russia controls more sovereign Ukrainian territory than before the war, over 20% of strategic territory on the Black Sea coast. Relations with Moscow hit rock bottom for Biden, prompting Lavrov to make his “decapitation blow” comment.

Russia knows all about U.S. decapitation strikes watching Iran’s Al-Quds chief Qaessam Soleimani vaporized by a U.S. predator drone Jan. 2, 2020. Lavrov cites unnamed Pentagon source saying they were preparing a decapitation strike against Putin. “Washington were the furthest . . . . Some unnamed officials from the Pentagon actually threatened to inflict ad “decapitation blow” on the Kremlin, but, in fact, its is a threat to physically eliminate the head of state of the Russian state,” Lavrov said. Whatever the facts of the case, relations have deteriorated so much war with Moscow that it’s a razor’s edge from breaking off diplomatic relations. Biden has tossed U.S.-Russian relations under the bus for some unknown reason to join Ukraine’s war against the Kremlin. Decades of constructive U.S.-Russian relations have been wrecked by Biden in a matter of months of taking office.

No one in the U.S. government or press has asked the question of why Biden has wrecked U.S.-Russian relations? Former President Donald Trump was ridiculed by Democrats and the press for maintaining positive relations with Russia, China and, surprisingly, North Korea. Trump was accused by Democrats and the press of having nefarious relations with U.S. adversaries. Now that Biden’s at war with Russia and nearly at war with China, lawmakers and the press say nothing. Never before in any Columbia University journalism student’s lifetime has the U.S. been closer to nuclear war with the Russian Federation. Yet no one is willing to call Biden out for recklessly mismanaging U.S. foreign policy. Lavrov’s statements reflect the state of war between the U.S. and the Kremlin. Something needs to change quickly or the U.S. faces a perilous future with compromised national security.

Lavrov’s comments about a possible Pentagon “decapitation blow” against Putin gives the real picture of U.S.-Russian relations. Whether the statement was real or not, it reflects the total lack of trust between the countries. U.S. foreign policy relied on Russia for decades to maintain global peace, not just compete for world domination. Competition with the old Soviet Union or Russian Federation was a known fact, but never the idea that the U.S. or Russia would go to war. Joining the Ukraine War, Biden has broken a dangerous line, where the two nuclear-armed global superpowers had a mechanism for resolving disputes. Biden shows no interest in drawing the U.S. back from possible WW IIL or nuclear war. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned recently that that the dangers of nuclear war has never been greater. Biden’s obsession with Ukraine can’t be denied.

Biden’s endangered U.S. national security to the point he needs to be removed from office. Whatever the reasons behind his decision, it’s clear he lacks the judgment needed as commander-in-chief, certainly not U.S. foreign policy. Opting for a proxy war against the Kremlin was the worst mistake in post-WW II history. Biden has trashed decades to pragmatic and cooperative relations with the Soviet Union and Russian Federation. Biden shows no evidence t hat he’s capable of recognizing his grave mistakes and changing things. Meanwhile every American citizen, Democrats, Republicans and independents, are all threatened by Biden’s reckless decision-making. Ukraine holds no national security significance to the United States. Russia is a crucial global partner in maintaining peace around the globe. One look at North Korea’s Hswasong-17 ICBM tells the whole story.
