Pounding his chest yesterday because of false reports that Russia had begin to remove troops from the Ukraine border, 79-year-old President Joe Biden showed why he’s not up to the task of protecting U.S. national security. Biden, 59-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken and 45-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan showed their gullibility, slapping each other’s backs at any sign that their dubious strategy with 69-year-old Russian President Vladidmir Putin was working. All thought falsely that Putin acquiesced to all of the White House threats of economic sanctions should he invade Ukraine. For over a month the White House propaganda and disinformation strategy tried to dupe Putin into thinking that the world knew he planned to invade Ukraine. Biden, Blinken and Sullivan staked their credibility on saying Putin would invade Ukraine at any time.
Biden and his national security team thought they could win a propaganda and disinformation war against Putin by whipping the media and world into a panic over a fake Russian invasion. Biden’s team though we could beat Putin at information warfare by telling the world an “imminent” Ukraine invasion was “any day.” So when the invasion didn’t happen, the White House information war went up in smoke. Biden was slapped down by Chinese President Xi Jinping Feb. 4 when he supported Putin’s demands that NATO not continue to expand in Eastern Europe. So, not only has Biden lost his failed information war, he’s turned China against the United States, and now into strategic partner with Moscow. Biden’s chest-pounding yesterday, and the media’s following like sheep, revealed his Neville Chamberlain moment. Chamberlain famously signed a peace pact with Adolf Hitler Sept. 30, 1938.
Biden prematurely celebarated like Chamberlain when he returned to London signing a fake peace deal with the wily German Chancellor. One March 15, 1939 Germany invaded Czechoslovakia. While there’s zero real intel that Putin plans to invade Ukraien, the Biden White House has spent the last month fabricating its own intel on an “imminent invasion.” Biden and his national security team thought they could pressure Putin into capitulation if they turned enough Western alliance against him. When it comes to the “imminent” Russia invasion, it was all fabrication to pressure Putin to withdraw his forces near the Ukrainian border. Biden and his team pretends that they can ignore Putin’s security demands and things will go away. Today’s revelation that Putin moved even more Russian troops near the Ukrainian border spoils Biden’s premature victory parade.
Speaking on ABC’s Good Morning America, Blinken gave the bad news about Putin’s latest moves. “Unfortunately, there’s a difference between what Russia says and what it does and what we’re seeing is not meaningful pullback,” showing for all to see his gullibility. Why would Blinken think anything would change without taking Putin’s requests for security guarantees seriously? “On the contrary, we continue to see forces, especially forces that would be in the vanguard of any renewed aggression against Ukraine, continuing to be at the border, to mass at the border,” Blinken said. Blinken has only lectured Putin for the last month, following his boss in issuing threats to the Kremlin. “So far, we have not seen any de-escalation on the ground. On the contrary, it appears that Russia continues to their military build-up,” said 62-year-old NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
So all the White House high-fiveing about Putin withdrawing his troops proves Biden’s natural security team doesn’t know what they’re doing. How can they expect any changes in the Ukraine situation unless they address Putin’s demands for legally binding security guarantees? “In fact we see reason to believe that forces have been added to the border,” said State Department Spokesman Ned Price. Biden’s approach from the beginning makes zero sense, only threatening the Kremlin with crippling economic sanctions. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) begged Biden Feb. 10 before his critical call with Putin Saturday, Feb. 12, to see Putin’s point-of-view Bernie said he hears the “drumbeats of war” rather than sincere attempts to solve real problems. Biden’s call with Putin was more of the same, issuing threats about sanctions but not addressing any of Putin’s security concerns.
Biden and his national security team have been wrong about everything when it comes to Ukraine. Biden can’t explain why Ukraine has any national security significance to the U.S., making recent comments about the sacrifices needed preserve freedom. For the last month, Biden has told Ukraine’s 43-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky that the “U.S. has his back,” but said Jan. 25 that he will not put boots on the ground in Ukraine whether or not Putin invades. Playing a dangerous game of chicken with European national security, Biden and his national security team pushed Putin to the brink of war in the last month, then tells Brussels if war breaks out it’s your problem. What kind of hypocrisy is that? Either Biden takes the Ukraine crisis seriously or not. Whipping up anti-Russian hysteria, Biden has only destabilized international order and world peace. Brussels has begun to understand Biden’s vendetta with Putin and wants no part of it.
