Speaking at the first rally since his speech at the Washington, D.C. Ellipse before in infamous Jan. 6, riot and mob scene, 75-year-old President Donald Trump told an Ohio crowd that Democrats used “Covid” to beat him in November. For the first time, Trump admitted that Democrats ran a successful campaign against him, blaming him for the deadly novel corona virus epidemic and, of course, accusing him of white supremacy in the wake of George Floyd’s May 20, 2020 death. “They used Covid in order to cheat. They used Covid in order to rig the election in order to steal the election. They used Covid,” Trump told a cheering crowd. Only the press wasn’t cheering, slamming the former president for making up more lies about the 2020 election. But what don’t Democrats and the media get when it comes to Covid. Of course Democrats and the press used Covid to demonize Trump in 2020.

What do Democrats and the press think universal mail-in ballots did for the 78-year-old Joe Bidien’s chances in the Nov. 8 election? With a distinct registration advantage, Democrats capitalized on coronavirus pandemic justifying universal mail-in ballots, making it easy for every registered or unregistered Democrat to vote in the 2020 election. With a significant registration advantage, universal mail-in ballots helped Democrats beat Trump on Nov. 8. Whether or not Trump calls that “cheating” or “fraud,” the fact is that universal mail-ballots have never been used before. Democrats created a scenario led the party activists, like former Georgia legislator Stacey Abrams, to argue in the Democrat-friendly press that anything less would be voter suppression. So, to Democrats, going forward, any attempt to stop universal mail-in ballots is regarded as voters suppression.

Democrats and the press repeat the mantra that Trump’s claims of voter fraud were baseless and unproven. But Chapman University Law Prof. John Eastman, who wrote Texas’s brief to the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the results, said universal mail-in ballots made detecting fraud impossible. So when Democrats and the press say that Trump was responsible for the Jan. 6 Capitol riots because he complained about the election results, what was he supposed to do? Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told Biden Aug. 26, 2020 never to concede the election results. She told Biden never to concede because she regretted conceding to Trump in 2016. For Trump’s four years in office, Democrats never accepted the outcome of the 2016 election, working nigh-and-day to get Trump out of office. Democrats and the press pretend that only Trump didn’t accept the election results.

Whether Trump’s beating a dead horse or not, he’s entitled to his opinion that Covid did him in the 2020 election. If it weren’t for Covid, there’s no question that normal voting, without universal mail-in ballots, would have favored Trump to win a second term. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) impeached Trump for a second time Jan. 13, 2020 knowing it would harm his chances of reelection. Trump was impeached for “incitement of insurrection,” essentially accusing him of trying to overthrow the U.S. government. In the Democrat hysteria after Jan. 6, blaming Trump for the Jan. 6 riot was the best strategy to keeping him from a second term. Trump was already reeling from Covid-19, now faced with a second impeachment was a shrewd strategy to hurt his reelection chances. Pelosi knew that her case against Trump in the U.S. Senate was bound to fail, as it did Feb. 13, 2020.

Democrats and the media’s next fake PR campaign against Trump comes with Pelosi announcing June. 25 a new Jan. 6 Select Committee, delivering a biased analysis that was already rejected in the U.S. Senate. Fearing that Trump is already gaining steam with Republicans for a possible second run in 2024, Democrats must trash him over-and-over again. Whether it’s Cyrus Vance Jr.’s abuse of the U.S. Attorneys Office in Southern District of Manhattan or Pelosi’s new select committee, it’s all about the continued demonization of Trump. Trump’s biggest problem now and back in 2020 is that he’s running against the entire U.S. press, something that makes winning national office again next-to-impossible. Whatever points Trump tries to make about alleged voter fraud, it falls on deaf ears where it counts: With the press. If anything, the press wants as much voter fraud as possible against Trump.

Media delights in pointing out that Trump says there’s “mountains of evidence” of voter fraud in the 2020 election, just nothing the press wants to report. When Trump talks about cheating, he’s referring to how universal mail-in ballots gave Democrats a 46% to 24.1% registration advantage over Republicans,. Those are the undeniable facts that make universal mail-in ballots a loser in national elections for Republicans. “Stacey Abrams goes around saying she won the election. Nobody says anything. Hillary Clinton says she won the election. Nobody says anything. I say we won the election. “That’s terrible. That’s terrible [they say] he said, ‘isn’t it a terrible situation?’” situation Trump told the Ohio crowd. What Trump doesn’t get is that he’s radioactive with the U.S. press, demonized forever as causing the Covid-19 crisis and George Floyd’s death. Trump’s political days are over.
