Stepping into an already irrelevant conflict, 80-year-old Dr. Anthony Fauci, National Institutes of Health [NIH] Chief of Allergy and Infectious disease, was not appointed to 77-year-old President-elect Joe Biden’s 12-member Covid-19 Task Force. Fauci has been part of 74-year-old President Donald Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force together with State Department immunologist Dr. Deborah Birx. Fauci ran afoul with Trump granting interviews to the mainstream press highly critical Trump’s response to the Covid-19 crisis. Fauci was replaced by Trump as his key Covid-19 spokesman with 65-year-old Hoover Institution Scholar Dr. Scott Atlas. While declaring himself nonpartisan, Fauci was anything but during the campaign, helping Biden and his 56-year-old VP-elect Kamala Harris attack Trump during the campaign for mismanaging the nation’s Covid-19 crisis.

Fauci continues to grant interviews, welcoming the press description of himself as “the nation’s leading authority on infectious disease.” “I stay in my lane. I’m not a politician. I do public health things,” Fauci said, trying to cover the fact that he worked feverishly to discredit Trump to get Biden and Harris elected. Now that the Nov. 3 election has long-since passed, Fauci’s trying some damage control, so that once Biden’s inaugurated Jan. 20, 2021, he can join Biden’s Covid-19 task force. For someone that “stays in his lane,” he granted untold numbers of TV and radio interviews with the anti-Trump press, asking him questions that essentially indicted Trump. “I’m no a politician,” Fauci said, stating the obvious. But he acted like a Democrat political hack, giving interviews that clearly disparaged Trump, helping Biden and Harris. “I do public health things,” Fauci, insisted.

Trump did everything Fauci asked him to do and then some, including shutting down the economy in April and May, causing catastrophic damage to the U.S. economy. Shutting down the economy for less that two months drove the unemployment rate from 3.5% to over 12% almost overnight, plunging the nation into recession, maybe depression. Fauci pandered to the anti-Trump media that falsely accused the president of “downplaying” the Covid-19 pandemic, something espoused by 77-year-old former Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward’s allegations made in his book, “Rage,” accusing Trump of “playing down” in virus on Jan. 28. One Jan 28 there were only a few labeled cases of corornvirus in the U.S. and no deaths. Yet the anti-Trump media, repeated Woodward’s outrageous lies as if it were fact. Fauci said publicly that Trump did everything expected of him.

Fauci sees himself as still playing a vital role, telling the press to wear masks, maintain social distance, avoid crowds and wash hands. Fauci, on Jan. 28 when Woodward accused Trump of “playing down” the virus, told the public that masks were unnecessary, may even make the epidemic worse. But the point of it all is that Fauci said President Trump did everything asked of him. Only after it became obvious that Fauci used his position to grant interviews to the anti-Trump press, did Democrats figure out it was the No. 1 2020 campaign issue. Fauci did everything possible to lend credibility to the bogus claim that Trump dropped the ball in the Covid-19 crisis, a totally false narrative used by Democrats’ successfully with Fauci’s help to undermine Trump’s credibility with voters. Now Biden’s task force takes over with no magic wand only the exact same approach to the Covid-19 crisis as Trump.

Fauci deserves credit for bolstering Democrats’ false claims about Trump’s management of the Covid-19 crisis. Using Woodward’s phony book, they took Trump apart, without Trump’s communication team countering the false claims. If there’s anyone to blame, look no further that neophyte Hope Hicks, Trump rookie communication director. Way over her head confronting the deadly Democrat narrative that Trump botched the coronavirus crisis. “There’s absolutely no reason and no sense at all for me to stop doing something in the middle of a pandemic that is playing a major role in help use get out of the pandemic,” Fauci said, continuing to cover-up his integral role in discrediting the president through the media during the campaign. In the end, Trump has no one to blame but his own incompetent communication team that did a horrendous job of challenging the Democrats’ fake narrative.

Fauci told the press numerous times before the election how dire the situation was with no end in sight for a safe-and-effective vaccine. Six days after the election, Pfizer announces it’s completed its messenger RNA vaccine with 90-96% effectiveness. “It was a home run for the Pfizer product, more than 90%–close to 96%–effective. I have every reason to believe that the Moderna product is going to be similar,” Fauci said, suddenly optimistic after Trump’s defeat. Fauci wants to sell himself as a dutiful public health official, not someone that took sides in the 2020 election. When you look at the facts, not Fauci’s feeble excuses, it’s obvious he used every ounce of his credibility to discredit Trump and help Biden win the election. Whether or not Biden puts Fauci on his new Covid-19 Task Force is anyone’s guess. If he does, he should know Fauci is as two-faced at gets.
