Congratulating 77-year-old former Vice President Joe Biden, now president-elect, 74-year-old former President George W. Bush put an exclamation mark on hi big win, hoping the 74-year-old President Donald Trump hears the message. Trump’s loyal following has been flailing hopelessly with lawsuits about extraneous election issues, including whether or not GOP observers got close enough to watch ballot counting in key battleground states like Georgia and Pennsylvania. Trump, who certainly knows when a deal is dead-or-alive, should know that his bid for a second term is dead. Instead of wasting more his and Biden’s time, Trump needs to call Joe to congratulate him and assemble a transition team to work with Biden’s team. There’s simply too much to do to achieve an orderly transition between now and Jan. 20, 2021, when the baton is passed to the new president.

Trump’s faithful wished things would have turned out differently but, in the end, the people in record numbers had their say, with Biden coming out on top. Biden’s victory was less about Biden, himself, but about the American public fed up with Covid-19 and its consequences on the economy. It’s no longer matters who’s best to handle Covid-19 or the economy because the voters have spoken, handing Joe over 75 million votes, compared to Trump’s 71 billion, a whopping 4 million popular vote margin, but, more to the point Biden collected 290 Electoral Votes to Trump’s 213. There’s no disgrace in Trump losing the election, with more people voting for Trump than any Republican or Democrat in U.S. history, until now. Trump bounced back from Covid-19 in unprecedented fashion to compete in the final two weeks at breakneck speed, breaking all campaign records.

Bush, who’s been a bit of a recluse since leaving office Jan. 20, 2009, came out of hiding to congratulate Biden and to assuage Trump. Bush, after all, backed his 68-year-old brother Jeb in 2008, where Trump, a political neophyte, bulldozed a highly experienced and competitive field to beat a formidable candidate in 73-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016. Not only did Trump battle Hillary, he battled the FBI and national security apparatus that had spied on his campaign. Hillary played dirty pool like no other to besmirch Trump as a Russian spy, once WikiLeaks released its hacked Russian emails defaming Hillary. But, Trump’s feud on the campaign trail with the late Sen. John McCain (R-Az.) started a conspiracy with the Obama administration, especially the FBI, Justice Department, National Security Agency and CIA to prevent Trump from becoming president.

Trump overcame impossible obstacles during his 2016 and presidency, dealing with Hillary’s fake “dossier,” used by the White House, Congress, FBI, CIA and national security agencies to undermine his presidency. Trump’s reluctance to concede stems from the inexcusable, corrupt and criminal conspiracy to undermine his presidency by the U.S. government, something now known as the “deep state.” While 70-year-old Atty. Gen. Bill Barr promised to get to the bottom of the organized conspiracy against Trump, it never happened yet and probably never will. But all American citizens and should be outraged how Obama used the government against Trump, creating undeniable doubt in the FBI and CIA. Watching former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice treat Trump like a Russian spy was outrageous.

Democrats act so puzzled why Trump wouldn’t accept the 2020 election outcome, when Democrats and the U.S. media conspired to oust Trump from office from Day 1 of his presidency. Where’s the public outrage watching the U.S. media join the Democrat Party to undermine Trump’s presidency. When you think of all the lies from the House Democrats, coming from Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her anti-Trump lieutenants, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), it makes you lose confidence in elected officials. “I just talked to the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden. I extended m warm congratulations and thanked him from the patriotic message he delivered last night,” Bush said. Bush remained silent while Obama’s FBI, CIA and national security agencies all conspired with the U.S. media to upend Trump’s presidency for the last four years.

Trump’s time in office will be seen as an aberration to the U.S. presidency but exposed for all to see the incredible corruption in the U.S. media and vaunted government agencies like the FBI, CIA and national security apparatus. No one in U.S. history was treated more unfairly than Trump, especially the illegal investigations and spying on his 2016 campaign and presidency. But whatever happened is how history, something left for scholars, historians and investigative journalists, if there are any left. “No matter how you voted, your vote counted,” Bush said. “The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair, its integrity will be upheld, and its outcome is clear,” Bush said, not really knowing what happened. Clearly, universal mail-in ballots upended Trump’s bid for a second term. But whatever happened, Trump needs to move on to new adventures.
